Needless to say, I want to learn Arabic because there are many people of Lebanese and Syrian origin in the country where I live, so I’ll be learning Levantine Arabic. There’s a mosque in my town that’s still active, which I plan to visit and speak at once I’ve reached a more advanced level, but I won’t be doing so for religious reasons.
