Exactly 1 year between pics. How can I get my arms to grow?

Man, I love shoulder supported hack squats.

Last several years the few gyms I’ve had access to haven’t had a shoulder supported hack squat. I’ve just been progressing on smith squats and leg press.

At the new gym I’m going to it has a shoulder supported hack squat and man, it really does hit the quads different. Especially using a heel elevated platform wedge and going full rom smashing my hamstrings into my calves, it lights up my quads more than any of the other leg exercises I’ve done.

What equipment/machines are your gyms missing that kills you inside lol

Laser eyes my brother guys. He’s 5’10” 188lbs

He took a DEXA scan today and it’s putting him at 14.7%. I’m trying to tell him that it’s quite off.

What do you guys think

Sub 2 year transformation

Started at 208ish back in 2024, cut down to 170 last April, and then did a bulk back up to 198 and cut back down to 172. Currently 178lbs.

Any advice on growing arms would be appreciated

22 month progress

32/M/5’9”

208ish -> 170 -> 178lbs

Overall can’t complain, I’m never going back to the before pic! Focusing arms and legs on my current lean bulk.

Why don’t more casual gyms have chest supported T Bar rows?

Multiple gyms in my area, including a large military base with THREE separate gyms, don’t have a chest supported T-bar row.

In fact, none of them really have any good chest supported equipment that have handles where you can keep higher elbows and arm positioning to really nail the upper back.

They all have hammer strength high rows, hammer strength low rows, those shitty pin loaded machine rows with the slightly diagonal neutral grip.

And then obviously cable row stations which are fine, but where are the chest supported T-bar rows? I want a super stable lift I can easily stay consistent and progress on.

I would think more gyms would have them, they are essentially a metal frame with a chest pad. Then you just use weight plates already owned at the gym. Probably way cheaper than those other pieces of equipment that are more complex and pin loaded.

Just throw a chest supported T-bar row in the corner and call it a day. People will be thankful.

Rant over lol

M/32/5’9” [172lbs to 172lbs] (1 day) morning fasted vs post workout pump

Just under two hours difference. Before pic is right after waking up and after pic is end of my chest and arms session.

Crazy how much eating breakfast, a pump and lighting changes the physique.

I’ve reverted back to looking like the before pic….pump is gone

1 year difference at the same weight - 173lbs

M/32/5’9”

Honestly didn’t realize how much of a difference there was until I compared pics. I’ve had a few bulks/cut in between so it’s been hard to tell.

Should I cut a bit more or start a lean bulk?

M/32/5’9” [205lbs to 175lbs] (21 months) Had a few ups and downs with consistency but I’m back in the right mindset

January (198lbs) vs today (175lbs)

32yo and 5’9”

Down 23lbs since January.

Definitely didn’t realize how lean I was getting until I compared the two pics.
