What are your utility bills like?

Wife and I want to live on the coast sometime soon-ish and we are wondering what utility bills cost. We have an oil furnace and well where we live currently so our bills are relatively low and its only for electricity and garbage.

What are you paying for:

Gas

Electricity

Water

Sewer

Garbage

Internet

Anything I'm forgetting?

Thanks!

Terrible Liars

Have you all experienced everyone in the business lying all the time, and being terrible at it?

Supplier clearly messes up on pricing, says the item isn't available from their supplier, and offers a cheap replacement. Rival supplier has a 2 week lead time on original part.

GC says he pulled a permit before work began, asks for more payment upon doing dirt work, has issues with getting permit after payment is made, and blames county. County website time stamps all applications, he waited 2 months before pulling a permit after saying he will head right over after collecting initial payment.

Supplier doesn't order part, says I never included it in my email request, tells me it will be 2+ weeks to get part. Forward original request (item was #2 on the list) to him and his bosses, item will magically be there tomorrow.

Why is half my job wrangling children who are telling lies about eating the cake when they have frosting all over their faces?

Let's Enjoy Steph's Last Year(s)

I get that people are now upset because we weren't able to make any moves this year but Steph could be entering his final year as a Warrior before they hit a hard reset. Why not try to enjoy it? I remember being pumped to go watch 20-30 win teams at Oracle back in the early 2000s. This isn't 2K, we can't force teams or players to come play for us. I doubt they haven't been trying but they arent in a place to trade 3-5 first rounders/swaps for one player because we have guy or 2 in their primes ready to win. We have an injured Jimmy Buckets and an all timer in Steph who is at the end of his career. 2 years ago might have been the last chance and it went out with Steph's hammy.

Just enjoy what he's done for us and let's hope for some big nights out of him and maybe a play-in win or 2. We aren't contenders and getting one guy isn't moving the needle too far because of whay needs to go out

Where has a good lunch special

Looking for somewhere in the Medford area that has a good lunch special. Under $10 preferred. I know a ton of places offer something good but most of them dont really advertise it online.

Thanks!

Keep oil furnace or move to electric?

I have a 5-year old oil furnace (#2 heating oil) but the tank is about 25 years old and we are building an addition where it sits so its being replaced/moved anyways.

It has been a nightmare getting someone to give me a quote to replace it and hook it up to the furnace. To the point that I've already priced the tank and copper lines at about $2500, and have decided i can do the labor of setting the tank in place and running the lines. Ive called at least 25 different contractors and finally got one who wants $2500 to do the connections and test the furnace after.

Should I just rip this thing out and go to electric? Im an electrician so that portion costs me next to nothing. Natural gas isn't available. It costs me about $400-$650 a year for oil, will electric be significantly more? Southern Oregon where temps drop to the mid 20s for a few weeks but mostly above freezing temps for winter.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

Topping Pic While the Dogs Air Fry

Costco dogs air fried, didn't last long enough to take a picture with the dogs on the buns.

Ketchup & Mayo

Mustard & Sweet Relish

Crunchy PB & Apple Jelly

The pb&j dog was insanely good and the reason I made hot dogs last night.

What's your best topping combination?

Bonus if it's not your standard toppings

I really want to make some brie, candied jalepeño, and hot honey dogs on brioche buns. Saw that today and got to thinking about what other odd topping combos could be good?
