What is a good bluetooth page turner without one of those clips?

I have a pretty thick case so I don't think a remote with a clip would work. For my other eReader, I bought a tolino flip, but it's unfortunately not compatible with Pocketbook.

Libby book cover does not show except when turned off

Like the title says, when I download a book from libby it sometimes does not show the cover, except when the device is turned off. I think this only happens with my library that does not work with the Libby app on Pocketbook (I am part of library thay is not public and there seems to be an issue with these kinds of libraries and you can only access them through the browser on Pocketbook). I tried to re-download the book but it still does not work. It's not the first time this has happened but it also doesn't always happen with every book from this library. Has anyone had this happen before and managed to fix it?

14x30x4,3=1800.

I've decided to take driving lessons again. What is some advice that could help me to make it work this time?

I got my license back in 2017 but I was too scared to drive so I never drove ever since. My biggest fear is causing an accident. When I am very stressed, I sometimes get overwhelmed and I was worried that I could not multitask and that I would overlook something. I did not trust myself to drive without someone else next to me who could brake if I did something wrong. And now I've obviously forgotten most of how to drive.

But I've grown frustrated with myself for not being able to drive, and there have been several situations where I was relying on my father or brother for transportation and I finally want to be independent. It took a lot of effort but I called my local driving school (not the one where I got my license since I've moved) and asked for refresher driving lessons.

For those of you who have been in a similar situation, who have managed to start driving again after never driving since they got their license, what has helped you to finally make it? Honestly, I don't feel very different about driving than I did 10 years ago. I still get overwhelmed and lose focus when I have to multitask while being stressed. The only thing that has changed is that now I really want to and don't want to rely on public transportation anymore.

I'm not only looking for advice solely related to driving but also in general. For example, could maybe meditation (obvs. not while driving) help to increase focus, or things like that.

I want to start driving again after not driving since I got my license almost 10 years ago

I got my license in 2017 and I didn't drive ever since because I was just too scared. I could drive fine knowing my instructor could brake in an emergence but I could not handle carrying all the responsibility myself. My main fear is making a mistake and causing an accident and hurt another person or worse. In 2021 or so I practiced a bit with a family member on a parking lot but only briefly. I am tired of being so independent and I just wanna drive again.

I have a few steps in place so that I get slowly used to driving again. I also plan to take some classes with a driving instructor. At first I'll probably drive automatic because it's easier but I wanna be able to drive gear shift because that's what I got qualified for and I just want to be able to do it again.

But after taking classes I will have to drive on my own eventually and I wanna finally go through with it and not get scared and stop trying again.

What are some things I could do to be less scared? Like, what are some strategies I could implement in these moments? Or some general advice to be more focused in the moment and become more confident in myself that I won't cause an accident?

Why does my hair become stringy/tangled after an hour or so?

Why does my hair look like this? It looks fine after brushing (1st picture) but soon after it gets really stringy and tangled again (2nd picture). In the picture it even looks relatively fine but it often gets a lot worse. I see other women having their hair look great even if it hasn't just been brushed.

I know my ends could use a trim but I don't really wanna do it right now because I feel otherwise I'll never reach my goal lenght. However, I do long sessions of searching for single split ends and cutting them every now and then.

Here's my routine at the moment:

- I wash it every 2-3 days

- I use a silicone free shampoo bar

- then I use a hair mask with silicones

- then I use a conditioner with or without silicones

- then I use a leave-in cream with silicones into the ends

- then I use a hair oil into the ends

- every now and then I use a clarifying shampoo

I don't blow dry my hair, I just let it air dry. I also don't rub it with a towel, I just gently pat it. The water in my area is very hard though but I cannot use a filter atm. I also always wear my hair down, I don't style it nor do I tie it/pin it up.

So what can I do to prevent it from getting stringy like this? I only use a little leave-in cream and oil because otherwise my hair gets too oily.

I am kind of regretting buying the Pocketbook Era instead of the Era Lite. Is it worth it to sell my Era and get the Era Lite?

I'm really happy with my Era but I just found out that the Era has a 1200 display while the Era Lite has a 1300 display, and that the Era Lite weighs a little less. I found different information online about how much it actually weighs less. But those things are the only things that I slightly dislike about the Era: the contrast is a little low and I have to turn up brightness quite a bit, and it's a little heavy.

I do have a Tolino Shine (=Kobo Clara) which I think also has a 1300 display but I have bad eyes and astignatism and for me the display is not significantly better than the Era display except that I don't have to turn up brightness a much. But I wonder if I would notice a difference with a larger display. And I don't think I'll ever need the speakers.

If I could buy it again I would get the Era Lite now, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it for me to go through the hassle of selling the Era and hoping that I'll get enough money out of that to cover buying the Era Lite. Has anyone compared these devices to each other in person and could tell if the difference is actually that noticeable?

How do I not let things from my private life affect my work performance and vice versa?

There are a few things in my private life that are affecting me negatively. There is nothing that can be done about it at the moment, but I'm working towards it by working at this job and saving up money so that I can move out which will solve most things. But I am having a hard time trying not to let these things from my private life affect me while I'm at work.

It's a retail job and we have to approach every customer and talk to them about out products so being in a bad mood that openly shows is really bad. I know that my mood shows because one of managers is constantly asking me if everything's okay, and also customers are sometimes looking at me weirdly. I also unfortunately often make mistakes or forget things because I just can't focus and keep drifting off in my thoughts. Some days are really bad and I almost cry in front of everyone. My managers are nice but I can tell that particularly one of them is really annoyed with me sometimes even though he tries to hide it because he often has to remind me of things that I forgot or did wrong. It makes me feel even worse. I'm not new and I was properly trained so I 100% should not mess up these things anymore.

Then, when I am at home, I have the opposite problem. I spend hours thinking about how I was at work, that I did not do my best, that my managers are annoyed with me, I keep thinking about all the mistakes I made and how immature it is that I cannot regulate my emotions. Sometimes I waste all of my free time doing this, in the morning I plan to spend my evening reading a book or sth but then I just keep ruminating until I go to sleep.

What are some mental exercises that I could implement? I need things that I can do in my head while being among my coworkers and customers because I can't constantly step out and go to the bathroom. Something that helps me to strictly separate work and private life. I have looked into meditation in the past but it has never worked for me. I just can't notice my thoughts without engaging in them.

I cannot find my library in the Libby app

I just got myself a Pocketbook Era specifically because of the Pocketbook x Libby integration but I cannot find my library. :/ I tried all sorts of keywords, zip codes etc. but it's not working. My library card is working just fine in the Libby App on my phone and laptop and I can find my library without issues there. Has anyone experienced this as well or know what I could try?

Edit: I found out that you can access Libby via the browser on the PocketBook and download your loans from there as an epub file, which worked for me! :) But it would still be great if I could do it through the app, too.

Screen time tracking with e/OS

It seems that e/OS does not have in a buid-in feature to track your screen time (or I haven't been able to find it yet. Are there any external apps that don't drain the battery and also don't have any privacy issues?

What is the best kobo as a secondary device with Overdrive integration?

I have a tolino Shine 5 but want to get a second eReader that has an Overdrive integration. I'm very happy with my tolino and thinking about getting a kobo Clara BW (which is almost identical to my ereader) but it's a bit expensive for me to only get as a secondary device, especially since I can already read Libby books on my device by connecting it to a computer. What is the best cheaper alternative that also has this integration? I don't need a color screen, and I love the 6 inch screen and don't really want a bigger one.

Unablw to download and update apps

I got my Fairphone 6 with e/OS a few days ago and the first few days the App Lounge was working just fine, but since yesterday I am unable to download or update any apps. I'm logged in anonymously, and I already tried logging out and back in, deleting the cache and the storage of the App Lounge App, and restarting the phone but I still can't download anything. I've read that Aurora is a better App Store so I'll check that out, but I still wanna be able to update the apps that I have

My old iPhone broke and I got a Fairphone 6 with eOS. Because the iPhone wasn't working, I manually copied all photos from iCloud to an external drive connected to my laptop, and then connected the Fairphone to my laptop and transfered the photos via USB. Now I got all my photos on my Fairphone, but the dates of the photos in the pre-installed Gallery app have all been changed to May 5. Is there a way I can restore the original date of when the photos have been taken or a way I can transfer the photos again without changing the date? My iPhone is mostly working again for now, but because I don't use Google I cannot transfer the photos directly from phone to phone either
