I have a board of oak which has a couple holes on the outside which looks like it could be woodworm. The board hasn't been kiln dried but has been left out for a couple years to dry. What can I do to make sure there is no live woodworm and that the wood is safe for being inside my home and around other things made of wood
I wanted to practice some wedged mortise and tenons and I thought a monitor stand would help tidy my desk a little. The top is made from redwood pine, the legs from Douglas fir and the wedges from sapele. I finished it with a coat of raw linseed oil.
I study craft at university and I have made a bedside table for my final piece. It uses tusked mortise and tenons to hold itself together. The back panel can be moved to feed wires through to the bottom shelf. It's made up of redwood pine for the large pieces and reclaimed oak for the tusks and the handle.
I have this guitar neck I was hoping to use in a project but the finish isn't great , I tried scraping it off and it stunk, any advice on the safest way to remove it
This rocket has more than enough fuel to take itself to low earth orbit but mech jeb cuts the engines before booster separation
Anyone know where I can get the original image? Cheers
