Cambering a plane iron, question

I saw a Rex Kruger video recently where he's advertising cambered plane irons, in the video he showed how it can be done with a grind stone and that it could be done, but is tedious, using sand paper and a sharpening stone. I don't have a grind stone, I don't wanna buy an expensive iron, and my sharpening set up is not too coarse so it would take a while. Can I use files to shape the blade?

First time replacing a chisel handle

This chisel previously had a handle which was between 60 and 100 years of age and after it started splitting I reckoned it needed a new one, I made a replacement from sapele. The construction is simple for I didn't have a lathe and sapele is a little bit of a pain to work with but it's done a decent enough job and looks and feels a treat

Wood choice for handles

I have a chisel which needs a handle replaced and I have oak and sapele as a choice. I have used oak handles in the past and I am not a fan of how they darken but I haven't ever seen a sapele handle, is there any good reason not to use sapele?

Finding a draw knife

After about 2 years of consistent searching I have been unable to even see a draw knife on the second hand market near my home, checking Facebook marketplace shows there's non for at least 100KM around me. So I'm gonna have to buy one new, what would you all recommend, any brand to look for or avoid?

I have this log of damsen and I'm not sure what to do with it? I split it to see what the grain was like but what should I make from it?

I've sawed some boards

I've sawed and planed down a couple boards today, admittedly I used a circular saw for the boards, my neighbour kindly showed me how to use it! For planing I used a short scrub plane to remove most the waste then a Stanley 4½ to clean it up

Why does content stats vary so dramatically between platforms

On YouTube my shorts don't get much traction beyond 1-2k. a recent video I uploaded got a 33.9% skip rate and 1.9k views on YouTube shorts but the same video on Instagram reels got a 23% skip rate and 10.2k views (which is very good compared to my previous content) why is there such a large difference and can I tailor my videos for each platform and if so how?

I need to saw this beam into boards, what would you all recommend

I've been offered a stall at a local event for my sign making and I need timber for the signs, either I buy new wood or saw this beam into boards, but how should I cut it is 7 ¾" wide and 3 ¾" deep and I was gonna saw it depth ways. How should I cut it up? I understand this probably requires power tools but this sub is more friendly than all the others and I imagine your input will be more informative as it usually is! Thank you all!
