**Has anyone had experience with iCareFon Pattom for iPhone battery replacement?**

Hi, I have an iPhone 13 and recently visited iCareFon Pattom because of battery drain. They checked it and said the battery is bulging and the Battery Health isn’t showing the correct condition. They said replacing the battery is the only solution. They told me around ₹5.3k for the replacement. Has anyone here replaced their iPhone battery from iCareFon Pattom? How’s the battery after replacement? Is it stable, or are you still having draining issues? How long does it usually last?

Looking for some genuine experiences. Thanks!

iPhone 13 severe idle battery drain + repeated panic restarts after iOS 26.6

Hey guys, I’m having a weird issue with my iPhone 13 and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.

My phone was on iOS 18 and i updated directly to iOS 26.5.2 and started getting really bad battery drain while the phone is just sitting idle. Sometimes it would lose around 40–50% overnight with almost no screen usage. and then i updated to 26.6 after after one and a half month hoping it would fix , still the battery is draining and thought it might be the indexing or updated cause , i updated 2 days back to 26.6 and now the battery drain is happening and when i check that when battery goes down 20 the iPhone keeps rebooting automatically and i googled and when based on google instruction when I checked Analytics Data and found multiple panic-full logs. One of them mentions:

SMC PANIC - SMC BSC failure

So I'm wondering:

Could this still be because the phone is doing some kind of background setup/indexing after being unused for so long and jumping from iOS 18 to iOS 26? Or do these panic logs and random restarts suggest a hardware problem?coz when i was using ios 18 i was feeling no battery drain issue and any issue at all iphone was working fine

Has anyone with an iPhone 13 had something similar on iOS 26.5.2/26.6

iPhone 13 suddenly dropped from 69% to 1% and now charging very slowly

Yesterday my iPhone 13 suddenly dropped from 69% to 1%. Battery Health also showed “Unverified” and 0% maximum capacity.

After restarting the phone several times, it went back to normal and showed 69% again. The battery seemed fine afterward.

Today, when it reached 20%, I plugged it in with my genuine charger, but charging is extremely slow. Sometimes it stays at the same percentage for 15+ minutes. Unplugging and plugging it back in makes it start charging again.

What could be causing this? Battery issue, charging port/cable, or software problem? Has anyone experienced this on an iPhone 13?

hows the update 26.6 on iphone 13 ?

i just want to know how's the update 26.6 brings changes to iPhone 13 , just to know the main thing is if there is any improvement in battery draining issue coz I was having a huge battery drain while using the ios 26.5.2 , like literally when my phone is idle or at overnight the battery looses 40% on morning. i heard the review 26.6 makes it better , but im confused will it make any changes in the update or causes more trouble

iPhone battery draining like crazy while idle after iOS 26.5.2 – anyone else?

My iPhone 13 has been experiencing severe battery drain while it's idle ever since I updated to iOS 26.5.2.

At first, I assumed it was because of background indexing after the update, so I waited for about a month. Unfortunately, the problem hasn't improved at all. If leave my phone at around 80% battery before going to bed, and by the time I wake up, it's often down to 40% or even lower, even though the phone has been idle the entire night. (NB: My batter Max capacity is 100).

I've already tried almost every battery-saving suggestion I could find on YouTube and Instagram, including

  • Turning off Background App Refresh
  • Limiting Location Services
  • Disabling unnecessary background activities
  • Adjusting other recommended battery settings

None of these have made any noticeable difference.

In Battery Usage section sometimes shows apps like WhatsApp or Instagram consuming a large amount of battery, even when I've only used them for about a minute.(but sometime the battery wont drain so fast , just happen once)

Is anyone else facing the same issue after updating to iOS 26.5.2? If you've found a solution or know what might be causing this, I'd really appreciate your help. This has been driving me crazy for the past month.
