Jinjos

I wonder why they evolved sharp beaks/mouths. Any thoughts or theories guys? They have no natural predators (excluding grunty), maybe it’s to collect food?

Puppet speech bubbles!

Semi puppet related, here is an early wip for how my puppets will speak in my upcoming show! It’s based off banjo kazooie, so it’s gonna be janky :p Thoughts and criticism?

New puppet wip!

I’m finally getting around to finishing my puppet ocs, and here’s a big one. Cleaver the dingy robot! His arm mechanism is a new feature, and I’m like to hear your thoughts!

Fiberglass shells

Good morning, afternoon and night everyone! I am once again back with a semi stupid question regarding the rockafire, how were their “bodies” made? I understand the frames of the endoskeleton were welded together for strength, but how did they make the fiberglass shells that sat on top, and how were they attached?

Animatronic frames?

Hello again! I once again bring a question probably asked before but, what’s the benefit of the animatronics having metal framed welded together? I get the “professional animatronics ran every day for years” thing, but in my case, would it be best to weld my own frames for an animatronic I have plans for? Or can I cheapskate it and 3d print its frames? It won’t be a large or load bearing animatronic one, probably somewhere between pizza cam and looney bird in terms of size, but I wanna know what you pros think before I commit!

How do the animatronics work?

Hi all!!!! I’m new here, and this is probably a frequently asked question but how do the rockafire/unified CEC animatronics work? I semi understand that air is sent through cylinders to move their joints, but how is that air “coded” into the split second movements for the animatronics? Are they like musical calliopes with the show tapes have holes punched into them to stop and start the flow of air? I’d like to have a dumbed down animatronic similar to the rockafire, and knowing how they work is a step closer to bringing one to fruition!

[Mobile] [Late 2000’s-early 2010’S] Help me find a game that I’ve been dying to remember!

As a child in the late 2000’s, I remember playing some obscure mobile game where you help small mammals, usually unlockable skins for dogs, cats, raccoons and other things escape from prison. I have a vague memory of an opening cutscene when you started each level (drawn crudely above by yours truly) where the chosen protagonist would break out of the prison on a minecart or carriage of some sort. I remember the minecarts had a heavy presence in the game, but that’s all i remember they do. I also remember a skillset game feature, where if you paired a certain character with a certain food, they’d preform better, the only one I remember was something along the lines of “Radiator Sandwich”, buy I may be wrong. Details are definitely smudged and hazy after 10+ years of being rattling around in my noggin, but I would love to see if you intelligent and skilled folk can help !
