Morning everyone. I recommend that people who don't know Seed Atlas yet to check out this post.

I already got some impatient people on GitHub and in the Discord while I was already working on an update. It's finished now and I published it.

What changed:

• Added 26.3
• Added Dappled Forest
• Added Abandoned Camps (special variant highlighted)
• Added an experimental update feature that might or might not work

I didn't change a whole lot, just updated it. I do want you to know my mod project based on Seed Atlas tho, Seed Atlas for Xaero's World Map. Isn't the name creative? It does exactly what you think it does, it puts the Seed Atlas map directly into Xaero's World Map. You will have to enter the seed on multiplayer servers obviously.

If you find any issues, either open a GitHub issue or (even better), join the Discord I use to talk about my projects and share some stuff.

Because the sub demands it: Seed -5511857538949116865 has a Dappled Forest right at spawn!

So many if you saw that Modrinth now requires creators to disclose if the mod was (partially) vibecoded. While I think this will result in a witchhunt because you just cannot always clearly tell, it's their platform, their decision.

However, if they expect AI utilizing creators to disclose it, they should do the same. It needs to be prominently shown that Modrinth is using AI. It seems very dishonest right now.

Hello!

Some of the more dedicated seed finders of you are gonna know cubiomes. It's a local seed finder and mapper, a bit like Chunkbase on steroids. The issue with it is that it isn't updated anymore.

I updated it and also added / redesigned some stuff. You will still recognize the old interface, but you also get a darkmode now (yay) and a generally easier to use interface. I concentrated a lot on the seed mapping experience since most people are just gonna use that, the Search tab for seed finding can be activated in the (redesigned) settings. The new versions are supported. I also upgraded the performance. You paid for the whole CPU, it's going to use the whole CPU to deliver results faster.

I also added great features to Seed Mapping (using an existing seed, Chunkbase-esque).

1. You can now scan the whole work, no more area limits like before.
2. You can now search for slimechunk dense areas for your perimeter/farm
3. You can now search for structure density for monuments and witch farms. Even if your world doesn't have Quad-Structures, it'll probably have Triple-Structures! You can look for that now!
4. The biome search has been overhauled and made easier to use. I added a dropdown menu where you can select multiple biomes for search, you can also highlight chosen biomes on the map now.
5. The structure bar is now more structures and has actual text next to the icons, no more squinting your eyes.
6. You can collapse the left menu completely now for a bigger map view.

Important: Bugs may happen. Please report them on GitHub, that's the only way I can make it better. Please also report the smallest problem, I'm a perfectionist, you don't know how many version I created because of a tiny issue nobody would care about.

Also important: When downloading, there will be a Windows Smart Screen warning! That's because it isn't signed and Windows just doesn't know what kind of stuff you're putting on your PC there. The viruses will ship with the next update, I haven't found time for their implementation yet. (/s)

Also important v2: Flatpack is coming soon. Same with MacOS. Just need to figure those two out, give it a week or two.

Download here: https://github.com/DUzzL/Seed-Atlas/releases

Here's a taste, a quad Monument seed: 226518298172654

It found 3000 of them in a second.
