No incentive to trade in Galaxy Watches
I found it interesting that Google has such low trade in values for Samsung watches that there is really no incentive to trade in and switch. $65 for a Galaxy 8 Classic?

I might not be able to attend an event so I decided to put seats that I have up for sale. they are among the best seats in the house to a sold out area. seats that are inferior to mine are priced at well higher than the amount that I put in. The amount they are suggesting I enter is well below face value and are the price of tickets recently sold in another section that is inferior.
I've heard that the Paramount in NY is a gorgeous venue, but only seats about 1,500, which puts it even smaller than the 2018 Zepp Tokyo show, which was outrageously great. This is even more intimate.
I'm wondering what setlist expectations are. same goes for song intros, Omajinai Time, the light show, etc. The production on the Blu-ray that came with energetic was okay, but I couldn't stack it up against the other earlier concerts. I also happen to like many of their earlier work more than the newer material, and wonder how much of each they will play. curious for thoughts, especially with using their shows in English speaking European countries as a reference.
Wondering if anybody else thought the same. Watching many concerts that feature songs that have pinch harmonics, such as choose me, I noticed that Kanami has changed the lead slightly and generally avoids using pinch harmonics. I wonder if some of it has to do with the effects that she uses on stage.
Tanner weatherproof boots. Wanted to get a pair for rain and sleet days. Got them for under $250, returnable, but I can see why someone may have returned these earlier. Question is whether this can be reduced and still used for the purpose or if it's just worth sending back. they look like seconds.
I have a couple of older QNAP NAS boxes with NVME inside (dual 256GB) and have 6TB and 8TB options to install in a 2 and 4 bay drive. I will have two individual backups separate from the NAS drive, which I'm using more as an access server, probably for extended family photos, videos, and perhaps also some music that might run off the server. It will be used only occasionally.
I was wondering about using QMagie as a Google Photos alternative to access the photo/video library as the NAS qualifies (and I have 16GB RAM (and may install 24 or 32GB if needed) to get it to work as speedy and efficient as possible with minimal overhead. I installed the system and apps on the NVME and am getting ready to install the HDDs, gaining whatever speed and efficiency that may bring, even if small.
Here's the issue. I keep hearing recommendations about using RAID-5 v. just in single mode (ext 4) but i don't see the benefit here. If I need to replace an 8TB HD, I'll just restore the data from a backup. Having to try a rebuild seems like an unecessary and potentially strained task. Further, I'll get write penalties using the RAID-5 and won't with single. Any thoughts on one versus the other? Anyone have experience doing the same thing and using QuMagie or something else?
I'm curious to know about our group experiences with telephone and internet service on the subway, on platforms and in cars while stopped at a station. over the years, I found it get considerably worse to the point where I don't even get service at all at some major stations, such as Grand Central. Even if my phone shows at least two to four bars, it consistently and frequently just hangs and doesn't provide data. At some other stations, it works perfectly.
I've been told that the choke point is likely is small pipe / bandwidth provided by mobile service providers. I'm also wondering how much of my problem might be the result of changing to a tier 2 service provider Mint Mobile - yet. I was still having problems when I was on T-Mobile.
So how is your experience and what are your thoughts?
I have a 4 TB WD red wd40efrx that says it was manufactured in 2015. It has barely had much use, mostly in an external enclosure and on for perhaps a few hundred hours at most. suddenly it is no longer being recognized, and efforts to use Smart software no longer recognize the disk and its controller either.
I've read that this may not mean that the drive hardware is actually dead and there may be some user methods to access and revive a drive such as this. I can't imagine there are too many, but I figured I would ask before deciding that it is no longer worth the effort and need to destroy the drive and dispose. Thank you for any assistance and suggestions you can provide.
I was charged by Fedex a flat "disbursement fee" of $15.00 and then a separate "Customs Duty" of 10% of the value of the items. I shipped very often with another vendor and never had an issue paying any "duties" or "tariffs" for music CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays which often come together in one package too. I shipped with another vendor and the items seem clearly marked, yet Fedex charged me duties/customs.
Searching customs information online, I found this: https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/USDHSCBP/bulletins/40b3b7b
9903.03.11*: Articles that are informational materials, including but not limited to publications, films, posters, phonograph records, photographs, microfilms, microfiche, tapes, compact disks, CD ROMs, artworks and news wire feeds.*
Looking at the bill Fdex sent me: The column where it adds up the duties information has one part that says "10%" by the tiems list (I have 1 DVD and 1 blu-ray listed) and then underneath the 10% it says "FREE."
There is no information about challenging the result in the letter but I found this online to challenge:
This was a surprise to me and I hope it saves others some time and grief if you get a much larger bill well after you receive your goods and it tops even what you thought should have been the maximum amount applied.
I have a couple of days where I have tasks that unfortunately I need to carry them forward to future dates. I can't find any easy way to do this other than lassoing, cutting and pasting into future dates and doing this on a regular basis. well you can do this for to dos, they are still cumbersome to enter with too many dialog boxes and screens to use. has anyone found a different method to just drag and drop or move these entries to another date with a move command?
I've been buying music from places internationally for quite some time. I've always used Fedex to ship and never paid tariffs. Suddenly I buy from a band directly as they are the only distributor, and they shipped using some global shipping company in the same country I've never seen used. Weeks after deliver, I get an invoice from Fedex for over $23 on an $80 purchase for 2 discs, which already had added a cost for Fedex shipping + some "inbound fee" that I assume is their "tariff" that shouldn't be collected of $37. The entire purchase also included another $10 in handling and processing fees. My understanding is that not only is music not subject to the tariff, but even assuming there was one, how could Fedex come up with 30% of the sales price of the goods? Had I known about all of this and the hassle I am expecting, I never would have made the purchase.
Recently My Sony Bravia a75L has had CBS and NBC disappear from reception in New York City. I rescanned and my TV found over a hundred stations. It finds all other stations, including 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 4.2, 4.3, Fox 5, ABC7, nine, 11, which many cannot usually receive. doing a restart and plug pull does not fix the problem. on those two channels, it's a black screen, with the warning dialog box in the lower right stating no signal. antenna not connected or program unavailable. but there's a bigger problem here.
on major stations, such as ABC7, there is a black box in the bottom right corner with a yellow triangle and an ! in the center stating: no signal. antenna not connected or program unavailable. This displays constantly even on stations where the station is receiving perfectly. I cannot turn off that warning dialog box. it's as if The latest software update has gone completely haywire.
probably unrelated, but the Sony Bravia video bug occurs all too recently, where video will play in the top left corner and that gets fixed only by doing a restart.
Anyone have similar issues or able to explain how to fix this problem? it's odd that both channel 2 and channel 4, two of the four largest TV stations, simply have vanished.
