On tuesday morning (12th) i took my car to my local mechanic to bleed the coolant system as air was bubbling in the reservoir. They told me they would get to it on Wednesday (13th) and gave me a loaner car (an old V6 Magna that misfires, the check engine and TCL lights are on, but fuck it, it a car to drive). After not hearing anything by close of business Wednesday i called them to be told they didnt get to it, and the mechanic who was going to do it wont be back until friday 15th (today as of posting this). 20 minutes before close of business today they called and told me the system was bled and seems to be fine, but they will be keeping my car until monday to "check the levels" in the morning.

I get that shops can get busy and stuff can get pushed back, but one day shy of a week for a coolant system bleed seems like a lot? Is there anything i can request like a small discount to make up for the inconvenience of having to drive a dodgy Manga? Or is that ungrateful of me because they still supplied me with a car to drive?
