when are the repubs going to finally say enough is enough, this guy is well into the throes of dementia?

oh, that's right, never, because he hates the same people they hate.

Label Your Harem Books, Please

started a series. first book, no indication at all of any harem qualities on the amazon page. no picture of any women on tthe cover (half nekkid or otherwise), and nothing in the blurb. no indicationn at all.

get about 3/4 into the book, as it really has drawn me in, and then the author springs the start of the harem.

but i enjoyed the non harem parts of the book, and get the next one on KU. unfortunately, the author really digs into the harem thing, including graphic descriptions of sex.

i'm not a prude, but i don't like reading about hetero sex, given that i'm a lesbian. really, though, i don't enjoy reading graphical dedpictionns of sex of any kind. and i am morally opposed to the harem thing, at least for me.

there is nothing wrong about harem books.....that are properly labeled. but you spring that sh as a surprise three quarters of the way through the book?

f you. f you and the horse you rode in on.

Spears...

It seems like every litrpg i read lately has spears as the primary weap9n for the MC. I mean, spears are cool, and objectively better than many other weapons, and a nice change of pace from swords, but they seem to be popping up in all the books I read lately

Recommendations for something like EQ Legends, but with modern graphics?

I posted this two weeks ago, and most of the recommendations were BDO. turns out, BDO is not what i am looking for. Any other suggestions?

i was really intrigued by an ad i saw for EQ Legends. it's the original version of EQ, but you can have up to 3 clases per character, and some of the quests and challenges and such have been changed to allow for solo play. still in an MMORPG, but you don't have to group up to complete anything.

unfortunately, the graphics are circa 1999.

is there anything like that out there, but with modern(ish) graphics, and QoL features? an MMORPG that is suitable for solo play?

Getting Recommended Your Own Book: Priceless

Posting in the reddit litrpg group asking for book recommendations, and describing what you like to see in a book: easy.

Getting some good recommendations: nice!

Having someone (unknowingly) recommend one of your books to you: PRICELESS!

(pic of book in question for attention)

Recommendations? Female MC, System Apocalypse (maybe), Caster MC (Druid?), (read for more details)

So, i just finished reading C.J. Carella's latest book in the Reaper's Justice series, a system apocalypse series. i also liked his previous LitRPG series, both of which were system portal fantasy (more or less)

i'd love to read something similar, but preferably with a female MC (not a complete requirement, but nice to have), portal fantasy or system apocalypse, semi stat/system heavy, with a caster MC (can be a warrior and caster or stealth and caster, but it needs to be caster or something and caster), druid/nature style would be awesome, but not a requirement.

doesn't need to be a finished series, but it does need to be a series that has 2+ books out.

i've read DCC (didn't really resonate), the Land (ugh,m nothing else needs to be said), and quite honestly, lots, and lots of others.

i've really liked The Grand Game series by TC Eliot, The Singularity Online by Kyle Johnson and one series that i have loved is the Skyclad (Fate's Anvil) series, although that looks to be dead, sadly.

KU is preferred, but regular kindle is okay. nothing solely on RR or other sites.

ETA: pride or LGBTQIA+ themes would be awesome, but not required (queue the downvotes from the haters)

Southern Baptists take a step to toughen stance against women pastors

not sure why any woman would want to be part of such a patriarchal, misogynistic religion, but who knows?
