Missing those old meetups

I kinda miss those meetups where people used to low-key hesitate to meet each other. Two people struggling to find a place which is exactly the same distance for both of them. 2-3 guys meeting who actually have shared interests and topics to communicate not just to fit in ....

The two-factor verification phase "Share your social handle first.” “No no....you share yours first." 🤦

Then slowly figuring out who knows whom, who's actually coming and whether you can trust this random person enough to follow them....

Now it feels like almost everyone knows everyone already. Maybe I just miss that era. 😭

Difference between two finalists

New fan of Shreya, ex fan of Akansha from splitsvilla.

Shreya

sacrificed for madhuri and she chose yogesh over shreya , saved ram and earned kharcha paani and he never voted for her to be leader, Akansha chaudary gave hint to shilpa that she might reveal secret of Shreya and shilpa didn't tell shreya. Nobody stood up when akansha poured water in Shreya's food and on her bed.

Shivangi

She came up with bodyguard in the show, the way harshad reacted when she shared how shreya was talking, damnnn "chudail saali samjhti kya hai apne aap ko "???? , Ram didn't question Shivangi's kharcha paani decision.

Finalist deciding finalist ??????

Shivangi took finalist decision like so easily, oh my god. She didn't even say a word that harshad can keep it to himself because what if he actually did.

Truly THE SHREYA KALRA SHOW !!!

I feel bad that my boyfriend didn't give me birthday gift even after asking multiple times. Am I wrong?

26F and 26M.

I am a MATERIALISTIC person. I can buy stuff on my own, I split bill on dates and I love spending money. I started dating a guy and we are together for 7 months now but he is very calm and nice person but seems like a clear mismatch, he never celebrates his birthday and belittle mine as well. Meanwhile I'm like booking a villa for my family for my birthday celebration, going to parlour, getting my hair, nails done, taking leaves from the office for 3 days and I have ended up with someone who is asking me "why are you so excited like a 5 years old girl" , wished me "happy birthday baby" " good night ", took me on a date the next day after birthday, dinner was planned but nothing else, No gift, bouquet like a felicitation program and small dessert which I cut in front of construction site, I mean we could have stopped somewhere else and he had plan of taking me to escape room on my birthday but I was wearing one piece so he had to cancel that plan , he went silent for an hour and two and then I started suggesting things and we decided to visit IKEA, I'm in one piece and heels 👠 then went to macd for grabbing snacks.

perfect birthday celebration and also he asked me why I didn't wear something simple.

I didn't get a birthday gift after asking multiple times. He just laugh and brush it off. I was about to get you gift but there was some problem so I couldn't, leave it na please, that's what he said. It's been 2 months since my birthday, also my female friends had ordered gift for me 1 week prior to my birthday so that it should get delivered on time.

Then there was a girlfriend day celebration, he gave me a single flower, literally single flower and I'm not someone who is "at least he brought flower for me" there was a couple besides me and that girl had very beautiful bouquet white and pink flowers one with white paper wrapped , I felt like hiding that single flower.

It just keeps breaking my heart and I have communicated multiple times that I am not happy with your efforts , why it's not thoughtful at all., he keeps saying you are an way extrovert, I never celebrated my birthday like this and all, and I am just tired now

Need a resume resume for one year of experience

https://i.imgur.com/3HJXYZH.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/1DVVB9U.jpeg

Hi everyone I have been working as Devops Engineer since last one year for fast paced startup. I have good hands on knowledge of kubernetes (hence picked CKA) and Multicloud (Initially I started with AWS then moved to Azure and GCP) and other devops tools ( terraform, Ansible, GitHub actions, Monitoring tools and python etc)

I want to know what should I do to improve my resume and what is something I should learn to get better in devops field.

Thank you in advance !

DevOps Engineer doing testing and web development in my company using claude.

Hi everyone

I'm currently working as Devops Engineer and was actually working as Devops engineer then our company introduced claude and started expecting us to do this work and overtime because earlier used to get 3-4 hours for a task now we have to wrap it up in 1 hour so I just stopped learning and my working hours are getting stretched to 10-12 hours daily because of high expectations.

I have around one year of experience so I feel like leaving this company without a job offer but everyone says market is tough so I am just dragging it and I am not getting to prepare for switch because I get exhausted. Saturday is also working for us since last 4 months without payment. high expectations are us making me feel low and sick almost alternate day.

give me some practical suggestions.

Can I wear such accessories on daily basis? Will it look good or odd ?

I am having a new obsession with hair accessories, I feel like styling like this daily with new new hair accessories. My friend and even I think this looks good only in traditional wear or gown or parties 🥹 so just need suggestions

Working professional, preparing for CKA (my exam is in September), let's connect and study together.

I have around one year of experience as a Devops Engineer. I mostly work on multi cloud and kubernetes so thought of leveling it up and getting certified.

If you are on the same path then let's connect and get it done and dusted.

Me in student life vs me with somewhat financial independence.

When I was a student I used to be like "Bhaiya, I need to buy this and I'm short of 100 Rs" , "Bhaiya, I am going out, please send 500 Rs" etc etc....

Now that I started working, I started contributing a little in family expenses.... ☺️

This might sound like a small flex but I feel good about it so I shared 🤌....

Shawarma from lassi wassi, Kothrud left orange stains on my fingers.

I ordered shawarma from Lassi Wassi today. I order from there pretty regularly so I know how it usually tastes. Today it was noticeably saltier than normal which can happen sometimes, no big deal.

But while eating I noticed an orange color/stain on my fingers. ended up throwing away around 1/3 of it....

Could this just be from spices, oils, food coloring in the marinade or sauce? Has anyone else had this happen with shawarma?

Pata hai aaj kya hua

So I accidentally built this image in front of my guy that I have an insane wardrobe and never repeat outfits.

Reality? I just shop… a LOT. Like enough clothes that they don’t repeat for at least 2 months 🫣

Every time we met, I’d wear something different and he’d be like “wow this looks so good on you”, “love this top”, etc. I was living my main character moment ngl.

Now here’s where it gets funny.

There’s this random sale outlet near my house where I got 4 tops for ₹100 each (yes, I’m that girl). I wore one red top, met him, and of course he hyped it.

Next day I told him I need to go exchange one top because it didn’t fit properly… and he tagged along.

BIG mistake..

He spots the SAME style shrug and goes: “Kal wala bhi yahin se liya tha kya?”

I laughed it off but inside I was like oh no....

Then he finds ANOTHER top similar to one I own and goes: “Yeh bhi yahin se liya na?”

And I’m like “no no that one is from another store” (which was actually true 😭)

AND THEN… he looks at my pajamas and goes: “Yeh bhi yahin ka lag raha hai”

BRO 😭 that one was from Maxx.

At that point I was just like esko Kyu lekar aayi mai 😭

Do men notice clothes THIS much or was I just unlucky? 😭

Hey everyone,

For those already working in the industry , what’s one thing you really wish you had known when you joined your first company?

Could be about:

Work culture

Expectations vs reality

Dealing with managers or teams

Salary, growth, or switching

Or anything that surprised you

Would love to learn from your experiences 🙌

  1. Ghee podi idli (9.5/10)

Idli was so soft and nice that we started eating without taking picture. Tempting it was, chutney was spicy and yummy 😋

  1. Mysore masala dosa (9/10)

I loved it more than ghee podi dosa as it tasted better and it was so crispy till the last bite.

  2. Ghee podi dosa (8/10)

This was also nice but it just feel like they put podi aise randomly and some bites had so much podi and some bites tasted like plain dosa but yea still nice

Ambience is good and spacious (may be we were lucky as it wasn't crowded)

This is my new favourite dosa place. I took suggestions from comment of this sub and here we go. I went there the day before yesterday but it was not enough so again went there yesterday. 💁
