Weird Portal Flights

Does Cap One think someone is actually going to take that Frontier flight by way of Denver to get to Chicago that’s 18 hours long? Always hate when it makes me think there’s a good deal but the weird frontier flight skews the number.

Concerts - Diamond Club

Somewhat off topic, but do they not do the all inclusive stuff for concerts at Nats Park. Was looking at diamond club for the Luke Bryan concert for Thursday and it didn’t mention anything like the all inclusive drinks and food for the concert. Any idea?

Caps Blogs

Anyone else get annoyed that a certain Caps blog (RMNB) takes things like the Chris Patrick press conference and turns it into several different blog posts over the course of several days? For instance they post a blog about Ilya Protas since CP commented on him during his presser, and I’m like “oh it’s different news or something new!” but it’s just the same stuff from Saturday when Patrick spoke that others have already reported on.

The off season is officially here!

Since I really didn’t care much for either team, I’m glad the Stanley cup final is over and done with. Feel like this is one of the most anticipated Caps off seasons in recent memory. Hoping for lots of fireworks and an improved team.

I like Jeff Marek and I know this is produced by Monumental, but does this podcast solely exist to just glaze the Caps and Ovi? Every sound clip is Jeff asking each guest what it was like playing with/against Ovi. From the sound bites in commercials they show on Monumental that’s surely what it seems like.

DC Area Folks - is the food better at DCA Landing then IAD Lounge?

I can’t be the only one that thinks this but I find the tapas items at the DCA landing to be much better than the buffet at Dulles. Anyone else agree?

Aircraft swap

My aircraft for flight on Friday looks like it was swapped from a 319 to a 321neo, but the seat map is still showing the 319 version. I assume the seat map will eventually flip over to the new one? Also the plane looks to be brand new coming up from Mobile tomorrow, assuming it stays the same to Friday (likely not)

Why are the concessions so bad in the lower level?

If there’s any sort of decent crowds the concessions are a disaster. I’m waiting 10+ min just in the district drafts line. The grand slam grill has what looks like 150 or more people waiting in line. Why are these such a mess if there’s 30k or more in the park?
