i might be a little late to this but.... i just heard abt this black lesbian couple that posts content on tiktok through a yt video that i was watching earlier, and i found out that they're ending their 9 year relationship bc they "found jesus."

it doesn't make sense to me, like none of it makes sense. i genuinely feel like there's something much deeper going here especially since the femme in the relationship (mia) was apparently straight before getting with the stud (mack) so like??? also why would you willingly screw up a 9 year relationship for a male deity that barely views women as human beings?? i say this as a person who was raised up in christianity (now agnostic but i still go to church unfortunately), if god is such a loving god and he loves all of his children, wouldn't he love them regardless of their sexuality? why should god's love for his children be conditional?

any thoughts?

hi guys! i was in this subreddit for a while posting my locs until i decided to make my leave (quietly) from this community after i cut my locs off... but lately i've been thinking abt getting them back again 😅 i had a very strong attachment to my locs when i had them (ended up cutting them off due to thinning), and i knew i was going to restart at some point, but the need to restart had gotten a lot stronger lately.

with that being said, would 6 months be a reasonable time for my hair to grow back from a buzzcut? i never really cared abt the length of my hair, just so long as i have enough hair to get my locs back in my head.

okay, so a few months ago i made a post on here abt my disdain for monty (mostly bc he was a fill-in islander and i wasn't able to find a new one in time from when cole had left previously) and i was told to "love bomb" him so that he'll leave sooner... and LO AND BEHOLD AFTER MONTHS OF SUCKING UP TO HIM, HE FINALLY TELLS ME HE WANTS TO GO!! i wasted NO time encouraging him to gtfo my island, plus i found an islander that i ACTUALLY WANTED to replace him!!! :DDD

hello everyone! i'm very new to makeup and i have very little experience with it (other than mascara, eyeliner, and lip combos), and i wanted to come here and look for some advice. i've been wanting to get into makeup since my aunt did this look on me for my senior prom, but i'm not sure where to start. if anyone can provide me with any information on what products to purchase (mostly concealer, foundation, and highlighter) along with which shades would go better with my complexion, that would be really helpful. any other additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 🫶🏾

hii! i just wanted to know if it's possible for me to design a tattoo based off of a henna design? definitely not like the designs i posted here to avoid copying others but maybe something similar to any of these? would it be offensive in any way? should i do more research before i start designing?

i've been looking at some new frames and have been interested in getting thinner/rectangular frames to replace my current ones, but i'm not sure if they'll fit my face shape. i have a pretty round face (imo) and i tend to hide it using bigger frames, but i wanted to try something new for a change.

what do you guys think? is there anyone else with a round face that has frames similar to those in the picture? pls lmk 🙏🏾
