Got banned from a large server after questioning the petty mods incorrect logic that Resident Evil is for all ages after I was moderated for posting an in game verbatim text of the file "Mail to Chris" and questioning that hypocrisy of this.

After this I basically pulled a bender from Futurama with blackjack and cookers and forget the blackjack.

Server to avoid in this case was Residence of Evil but this attitude appears to prevail in nearly all of them

As a response I made an age restricted server in which moderators cannot kick or ban, and all bans are discussed amongst staff. We also encourage discussion and respectful debates of topics of intellectual interest like politics, history or theology. Naturally other gaming comes up too haha

Any adults sick of being beholden of rules made by children allowing moderators to run amock banning at will for no reason feel free to come here where you will be placed in any trouble provided you are not disruptive. Seeing as we've only been open one month Id say things are going well and we are filling a niche that I would have to assume was caught after.

Link to what seems to be the only age restricted Resident Evil server, that is a about more than RE, we allow respectful debates about politics, religion, the discussion of philosophy. We have no issues with mod corruption as they cannot kick or ban users. Also you can discuss gaming too haha

I must admit this, if SMIB was actually going to homes or having others go Fandom employees homes, that actually is really fucked up not gonna like that is weird and messed up

If that is actually true i think a civil injunction is indeed reasonable.... *prepares to be burned alive* lol

Fandom people are so weak they are literally suing SMIB no joke

What a bunch of tools, someone posted about it on GameFAQs and it got deleted because its not supposed to be made public. Uh, I am sorry but civil court filings are in fact public information.

If you guys want to talk about this more in case this gets disappeared due to overzealous mods and what not, I can be reached here, all our welcome. - https://discord.gg/AFtRPJzk4

Safe to say we are not in the era of Allen anymore. At least back when CJayC wanted to do something people were actually fucking his site up. Fandom is pathetic.

Resident Evil (18+) | DISBOARD: Discord Server List

Just sharing my discord, it is a fast growing community originally spun off from other Resident Evil discords who were upset with how strict the rules were and how the mods would ban people for essentially "wrongthink"

On this board there are very few rules and moderators cannot kick or ban, only timeout, if I a kick or ban will happen it is discussed with the administration first..

In addition I am also taking in disgruntled GameFAQs users. I was an active member there since damn near the founding of the boards and was displaced by Fandom and the current moderator staff enforcing their rules on off site platforms like discord. So disgruntled GameFAQs users are welcome too!

Hope you guys enjoy.

This server is for people 18+

If anyone is looking for a non crazy discord ADULTS ONLY Resident Evil channel without emotional mods banning people, you can feel free to join mine

After being widely dissatisfied with all the draconian rule enforcement, emotional moderators and a bunch of kids in all the channels, me and some others created a channel that is adults only. In order to prevent emotional mod whine bans moderators on this channel, the moderators do not have the ability to kick or ban people, timeouts only and if they believe bans are warranted they and you can argue your case.

There is an invite link, if any wants an invite message me if that stops working

If anyone is looking for a non crazy discord without emotional mods banning people, you can feel free to join mine, if you guys want your own gamefaqs channel I will create one for you.

Above is invite, but basically I formed it unrelated to GameFAQs but because I was sick of having to watch my mouth if trashing RE3R or using certain words (i got moderated for posting a file verbatim because it had the "rape" in it, when we discussing Chief Irons and how he was sanitized in the remake. Myself and some others got banned because moderate knee jerked reaction to my question that they could answer. They said people of all ages playing RE so thus the channel shouldn't be age restricted. I then asked why moderate people for posting "bad" words if they come from a verbatim text in game "Mail to Chris" - Resident Evil 2 1998 is what I had posted.

I said that doesn't make sense, I also got moderated for critizing what they did to Jills character itself in RE3R and was expecially critical of her basically being face raped by a fucking insect, which while crude is exactly what happened for anyone who knows what I'm talking. Granted theres much more than just wrong with the Remake but that particular scene is just disgusting.

Anyhoo, it led to me creating a channel for adults and the only thing that is against the rules is being disruptive, we have no banned words, no bans of discussions of any kind. The only line I draw is if you are going to be using some kind of racial slur or some weird things like that it better be contained in a bonafide discussion where it is actually relevant, we have a channel for the discussion of politics, race relations, philisophy etc... real life stuff that requires critical thinking and what. They aren't very hard rules to follow at this point and we don't have any issues. We only have 60 members now though they are active.

Also no moderators have the ability to kick or ban people, worst they can do is issue a timeout and they need to appeal to me or my on co-owner of the channel.

Saw another topic mentioning discord so I figured I throw this out there as an alternative for some that don't want to deal with people getting banned because they don't have the same groupthink. You can be as republican or democrat as you want lol

https://discord.gg/QwrX6PGnC

There's an invite link, if it doesn't work feel free to message me. If end up with gamefaqs refugees as mentioned i can make a separate channel of you'd like

Though fair warning I dont ban people for politics so if you can't handle being in a community that doesn't have a groupthink rule it is not for you

I keep hearing of Prometheus and Covenant Chaos Editions and a Black Liquid edition

But yet no matter how hard I look I cannot find, have these just disappeared off face of the earth?

Array of photos explaining historical basketball rule changes and collage of Wilt Chamberlain athletic feats.

I made this for a response I made here concerning the false equivalency of improved "skill" in todays NBA explaining much has to do with non enforcement of fundamental rules like traveling, carrying, moving screens etc... while conceding overall athleticism is higher, there were still athletic freaks in the past and Wilt Chamberlain in particular is to this very day the most athletic 7 foot or higher player in the history of basketball.

Wilt Chamberlain no run up vert in College

Same time picture was taken for LIFE magazine from another angle making him seem way more freakishly high up as he already was. One would think this looked good enough.

I 39M apologize to everyone on here.

My story. I am a junkie in recovery having not taken an opioid in 4 months. However from ages 13-36 I abused opiates and opioids starting with percodan (oxycodone/ibuprofen) and vicodin (hydrocodone/acetaminophen) Darvocet (propoxephene), rapidly upped to mscontin, and then with oxycontin, opana, diluadid etc... became widely available I super indulged all the way until they started cutting the legal supply off and then transitioned to heroin that transitioned to fentanyl, half my friends died during this transition but somehow I kept ticking.

I finally sought help for my addictions in 2023 and worked with doctors to get where I am today. I feel so much remorse for all the people that legitimately need it and can't because of the actions of myself (well and some of their contemporaries that sold their scripts) and also fear for the day when I will legitimately need them and will not be able to get them.

My second dad essentially (best friend since high schools father whom I've lived with and he has treated me like a second son) got into a bad motorcycle accident in 2000 and was prescribed 90 10mg perocets a month, and a few years back they abruptly cut his script by 1/3rd leaving him miserable for 3-5 days every month. Since then I help him obtain relief through other methods that I won't discuss here, but I feel awful that it got to that point and wish things were different.

No point to this post just wanted to put that out there and apologize to all that I've harmed.

Edit: I seem to see a recurring myth being stated by people that have not lived the life. 99% of our pills were legally prescribed to people with chronic pain whom were overprescribed like my friends mom and sold to us, despite our often young ages. Doctor shopping has been extremely rare for 20+ years due to how intertwined peoples medical information is because of people using software from companies like Epic (MyChart).

Edit 2: I've noticed a trend where people blame addicts for trying to go "Doctor Shopping" as a primary cause when in my lifetime that simply is not true. The integrated health computer systems and lists narcotic prescriptions are put on make that basically impossible and has for a long time.

Nearly every junkie I knew in the old days when real oxy was still on the streets got theirs from chronic pain patients that were wildly over prescribed who then went on to sell the portion of their prescriptions they did not need. Not that I don't feel responsible for my part, but the people with the largest culpability in my eyes were those handing out 30 percocets for getting a tooth removed, or Dr Wetzler that gave my friends mom 90 80s and 90 20s of oxycontin a month, she only took 30 80s a month and then sold the other 60 and all her 20s. She'd split the 80s in two and take half twice a day.

Opioids can only kill so much pain, there comes a point where there is diminishing returns until it effectively doesn't reduce pain further. Purdue is probably the single most culpable party of all as they knew it was even more addictive than morphine but covered it up and propped oxycontin up as a safer less abuse prone alternative to mscontin when they knew from day 1 it was not true.

I also believe a large reason Doctors are hesitant to dispense opioids if there isn't physical evidence of pain is they are fearful of being investigated. My own doctor that helped me get off opiates told me to my face that was why she wouldn't help me get off benzodiazipines as she did not want to be seen prescribing me narcotics and then benzodiazipines as well and possibly be investigated for co-prescribing opioids and benzodiazipines as they are a combination responsible for many overdose deaths, even she knew with my tolerances that possibility was non existent.
