8 light limit on bluetooth

I have 9 lights connected. Every time i open the app, a random light will fail. The next time I open the app, that will be the first light to connect, and another light will randomly fail. I can't connect nine lights at once.

Philips, how the fuck did you make a good product 10 years ago, and 10 years later it's pure trash? 3 fucking apps that hate each other and none of them work?

You clearly have a major caching issue when connecting a light that has been named the same as another light. But your solution is to tell us the connection failed?

And to top it off, I can't factory reset without buying a Bridge? You deserve to be unemployed and looking for shitty jobs, I swear to god.

I don't fully mix my colors when I paint

I've been painting on and off for 30 years, and I've just come to accept the fact that I don't like mixing colors, I find it to be almost a lie somehow, or a cheat, I feel like I can see the groups that came from different root colors in my own work.

I like to swirl proportions of cadmium red & yellow and ultramarine blue until they're close to my base coat, and then I dab in more primaries + B&W as needed.

There's no such thing as running out of a color, bc each brush stroke has tiny visible streaks of pure primary colors, and the same base coat has subtle variations in balance anywhere you look, which makes it easier to create more of it

I think base coats are among the easiest parts of painting to make a mistake and kill the realism and emotion of the work. I believe base coats should be to empower/embolden the canvas, not to prop up the scene

If white accents are key, lay down a dark base coat, but don't just assume "oh I'm painting an ocean, I should lay down a blue base coat" and then suddenly you're having trouble adding an aquamarine gradient to the water

Anyway I'd love any feedback, none of this is law or doctrine, I'm just sharing my habits and personal preferences. Please tell me if I'm being ignorant or derivative, or this is literally a common technique and I haven't learned enough about art history.

Thank you in advance 🙏

My first take on the Linnpower Viper

I used to shortboard every day in college, then moved to Cali and got into surfing and snowboarding. I haven't skated regularly in like 20 years, so I'm getting back on while also learning the electric part.

So if anything, my opinion will be unique:

This feels the closest to snowboarding I've ever felt on land, by far. It's a wood core with an epoxy shell, so it has that sort of well-made Hawaiian longboard flex to it, it's subtle but it's there if you really ask for it.

Combine that with its '68 GTO Judge shape, and it responds to hip and ankle movement so well that I don't need exaggerated arm swings to make tight turns.

With a shortboard, my impulse on a straight line is to cruise and take in the scene, give my ankles a break. With the Viper, my impulse is to do a bunch of slow, drunk turns, like I'm going down a bunny slope, waiting for my niece who is done for the day but still has to get down

As much as I love surfing, it took years of neck pain, self-hatred, and getting into street fights with my wetsuit, before I felt like surfing was properly folded into my life.

This thing feels more like the first time I was tall enough to drive a go kart at Boomers. Hooked. Germans are always on some Autobahn type shit, keep it up.

Duplicolor Matte Copper, 2 cans per 20" wheel

Wanted copper wheels, I planned to swap the OEMs, so I decided to have fun with them first. Now I'm kind of obsessed with these

I was planning to get copper wheels, figured I'd mess with these first just to see what happens. Might keep them now

I was about to buy new copper wheels, and decided to fuck with my old ones first, just to see what would happen

I bought 75' of 3M Dead Matte Black wrap, and I had this idea of pairing it with copper wheels, first wheel painted

Women complaining that men use a lot of paper towels (What they DON'T want you to know...)

You just see chaos bc don't understand the rigid hierarchy established by an elaborate pipeline.

Or you do understand it, but people are coming over, and they definitely won't understand it, which is fair.

Still though: Men!

I sanded and painted my wheels, but I actually miss the sanded look

Am I crazy? I'm a painter and artist, and when I saw the sanded look, I considered leaving it and adding come clear coat. My grown-up brain won, but I actually wonder if I'd gone through with it. Anyone else agree?

I keep finding reasons to talk to Vega because her voice turns me on I'm just being real

"I'm pretty good, but les face it, there's a lotta great voices out there to talk to..." bro in a polite southern drawl?

I grew up in South Florida, and when I watched Her for the first time, I'm like who would fall in love with that voice all day, just Xanax extended release, not for me

But Vega whoever you are girl, I wanna marry you. Keep telling me shit about your features and what you're capable of, I'm into it 💀

I had a dream…

Oddly enough it was a clean and centered black /10 that was hardest to find. Got really lucky with the condition of the red /5 but had to pay a sad amount of money.

The super is out there, sold for $2k in December. If anyone here picks it up, now you know one dude who will definitely buy it ✌️
