Bunny had a bit too much fun digging a new hole this morning...
I think she hit the waterline... 🤣

I think she hit the waterline... 🤣
I know it's a running joke on this sub, but seriously, what are all those big booms going on tonight? I'm near 23rd and Iowa and I've heard at least 6. Not in a row, but sometimes 10 to 15 minutes apart and sometimes 5... Anyone know cuz my poor pups are not happy at all.
I finished a picture that I'm finally super proud of! I had a horrible time taking a picture without glares and blurry parts so this is the best I could do in that regard.
This is from the coloring book "Illustrations From The Void" using Prismacolor and Crayola's Signature Blend & Shade series.
My BFF of 45 years and I like to color together despite being 1200 miles away from each other. When she chose this page, I knew that I wanted to add way more details than what was there. I thought about it for a bit and decided to make it a "cleansing before the ritual" picture and that's how my witchy bathroom came to be! I had so much fun with this one! The page is from the book We Do Not Care Club.
It seems like we have a strong chance of rain tomorrow afternoon and evening. I've missed the Fiesta a couple years in a row and was excited to go this year, but I wonder if they'll move stuff indoors or reschedule if it's storming. Does anyone have insight on their plans?
We have a trashcan near the back basement door, which we very very rarely use. We started to notice a couple fruitflies and went on a search for where they were coming from... I think we found it
So, I'm still fairly new to all of the coloring media available. I've used gel pens and colored pencils for a couple decades, but just this past year or so have gotten into acrylic gel pens, watercolor pencils & tubes/tins, as well as alcohol markers, and a small set of black charcoal pencils. I don't draw. I've always either colored in books (Kirby & Johanna are my favorites), or printed or copied random pictures from the Internet turned into line art via photo apps. I would love to learn to draw and came across a free coloring course on drawing and coloring a kitten. I love animals and have a zoo at my house, so this is right up my alley.
Only problem is that I read it as pastel colored pencils, not pastel pencils (didn't even know that was a thing till today). I only realized this when reading through the materials list she sent out and it's wanting a 24 set of PITT pastel pencils from FABER CASTELL and Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper in grey or brown for the course. They are over $50 each! I can't afford to buy anything new right now... I'd still love to learn, but do you think I would be able to follow along and use the colored pencils I already own (Crayola Signature Blend Black and Prismacolor 24 set and Black paper set, which I've had for several years)?
Finished another page from the Fourth Wing coloring book! Just wanted to share. I'm not a professional by any means, but I'm proud of how it turned out!
A couple years ago, I posted here about how I used to buy every supply needed for a project or craft yet fail to even make one craft from it. I was surprised at how many of us there were! I have gotten much better once I finally set my truth free. It's now a running joke in my house and today I came across some of the best signs to adorn the door to my craft room!
Note: I'm not selling anything, these are not my items, I get no commission, these are just screenshots from TEMU.
I cleaned out my fridge and found an old onion in the way back and since onions seem to consistently grow, I think it sucked all the air outta the bag in the process and had essentially vacuum sealed itself. Too bad it still started to rot.... I could have used that last week. Grr
Edit...I meant Acrylic, not water, markers but can't edit title. Oops.
My favorite colored pencils are the Crayola Signature Blend & Shade series, also known as Crayola Black line. They are creamy, dreamy, and blend perfectly, so when I got today's Crayola email and saw that they are now diving deeper into adult coloring I was beyond intrigued. They are making a new line of markers called,Crayola All Grown Up and making Alcohol and Acrylic markers! I can't wait to try these out and see how they compare! (No, this isn't an ad and I don't work for Crayola - I'm just a disabled gal who lives to color with every media available).
