$AAOI is adding $BE fuel cells to power its Taiwan expansion

According to the Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Times, the project is served by Hexi Energy as the EPC, using Bloom Energy solid-state oxide fuel cell (SOFC) to generate electricity on site. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2027, which is a support for production expansion rather than a simple demonstration.

MICROSOFT PLANS 3X DATA CENTER EXPANSION

MSFT plans to expand its global data center capacity from roughly 12 GW today to more than 38 GW by 2032, adding about 26 GW of capacity.

AI-specific compute is expected to grow from around 2 GW today to roughly one-third of total capacity by 2032, or about 13 GW.

The 38 GW target excludes compute rented from neoclouds such as CoreWeave.

The expansion comes after capacity shortages forced Microsoft to restrict some cloud subscriptions and turn away AI and cloud business. Microsoft spent $145B in capex last fiscal year and has $329B in future data center lease commitments.

Why AI is nothing like the dot com bubble

the core technology already does economically useful things today, at scale, for real paying customers. That wasn't true for most dot-com companies in 1999.

It's not an AI bubble, they just want your shares.

I have been seeing a lot of emotional people call for an AI bubble for 3 years now. These people all have one thing in common, they didn't buy cheap into AI stocks. They are now trying to get your shares. Stay safe out there 🙏.

I just got in bloom with this dip

I have been following this stock for a while, and after the earnings and drop the stock made, I decided to get in. I don't see this dip having anything to do with the company, but more with people panicking and mispricing this stock.

This company could easily be worth hundreds of billions in the coming years, and the whole scandium story is just fud.
