Red cabbage salad:
tomato
chickpea
edamame
tofu
grain of choice: mostly bulgur, farro, barley
dressing: preferred yogurt, lemon juice, tahina
To those who tried Ecran SPFs' lines.
rice with
- edamame
- sweet corn
- lentils
- carrots
(1) The rice was cooked in little water to make it sticky
(2) The edamame, corn, lentils and carrots were cooked in a pan with soy souce, paprika, salt and soms breadcrumbs to give a crispier texture.
on the side: boiled egg with tabasco sauce
Oats cooked in water (I know... disguisting!🫣) and the orange zest. Topped with greek yogurt (if vegan, cocount yogurt would taste SO good) and orange slices. For crunch, I I crisped up together some mixed seed (pumpkin, flax) and cocount flakes. Then when I plated everything I guess I decided to add in some of the coffee I had just prepared.
What the title says... does anyone know of a sunscreen with good protection *50+ that has the look on the skin as a liquid bronzer?
For those of you who enjoy the practice of commonplacing I have a question - merely out of curiosity.
Do you log quotes, research etc. after you conclude a book and have a little 'scrap'/pocket notebook you have on hand while actively reading the book that THEN you log more neatly afterword or do you just build your commonplace log while progressing in your reading?
PS. apologies for the 2017 filters - it was too early in the morning.
- Oats first roasted a bit then cooked in water (adding greek yogurt before letting it rest for 5 minutes) + added orange juice and zest in the pan
- Greek yogurt
- 1/2 of orange as a topping, with a lotus cookie for crunch and to balance the sweetness of the yogurt and orange
- a little mix of mixed seeds
I know commonplacing books are originally a collection of quotes however I mostly read non-fiction thus it would limiting for me to have just quotes in a notebook. So I figured that each entry for a book should be divided in three sections (1) quotes, and reflections on the copied quotes, (2) useful information - this makes the most sense again for non-fiction reads: basically, new things I've learned while reading, (3) further reading: I have a strong compulsion to copy down the entirety of the bibliography🤭. PS. Also, in the back of the notebook I have a small section of pages for my reading log.
I have asked a few physical stores for rubber replacement but they have said that they can only sell me the entire pencil's body etc. Could I buy online a brand different from the pencil model I own?
I bought this sunscreen around July of last year and I am trying to finish it before the EXP date... but I would NEVER purchase it again. It's not terrible but also there is no reason for a hybrid sunscreen to be this mediocre.
1- It leave a white cast (and when I say I am the same shade of a white wall - I mean it)... If you are tanned or have skin of color don't even bother wasting your money: you'll look insane.
2- Stings *slightly* the eyes and also, makes my undereyes look creepy despite not having particularly visible undereye wrinkles.
3- Texture is chalky and more similar to a mineral SPF rather than a mostly chemical one.
