SoCal techs!!! Is anyone able to help out a current student?

Hi all.

A online student in SoCal needs to borrow a rabies pole in order to graduate from the program!!

She is willing to drive anywhere in SoCal and we can leave a deposit or do whatever needs to be done. This is one task holding her back from finishing this semester!!!

The video is very very simple and will just take a few minutes to record and the pole can be brought back asap.

Posting here to try and help out a fellow student.

Does anyone else fall asleep to the podcast?

I found the podcast via tiktok clips and I became obsessed with them. I don’t actually listen to the full episodes awake and alert but it’s become the absolute only thing I can fall asleep to!!

I think it’s so funny because they’re so chaotic, but it’s somehow so comforting to my brain lol

Is there a way to avoid the very unnatural pulled back look that I see some celebs have?

I have noticed it with Anna Faris most recently - she is beautiful and I love her but there is something about the appearance of her chin surgery that I really don’t want on myself.

I am considering chin lipo for having a genetic double chin and weak jawline even at my skinniest.

Is there a way to avoid this look? Or did she have another procedure done entirely?

Do my crowns look huge/horse-like?

Feeling really depressed about my crowns because I had veneers removed for looking too big and bulky and I feel like I got nowhere

Are my lateral incisors too big compared to my canines?

My front 4 teeth are crowns and I was advised to get crowns because my veneers looked too big (and kept popping off). I had to have the crowns replaced twice… complicated… but with these new ones I feel like I’m back where I was with the big lateral incisors 😭

Do my front 4 crowns look huge or horse-like?

Really long complicated dental history but…. This was really not the look I was going for but I wasn’t given much of a say. I feel like I look like a horse now. I had to have crown lengthening done and new crowns put on and only front 4 had the crown-lengthening.

I know I have the option to crown lengthen the other teeth but I’m worried that will make my smile seem even more toothy/prominent. I just want a natural smile I don’t want them to stick out like a sore thumb or give off fake veneer vibes. I wanted my teeth to appear smaller and shorter laterals.

*please comment NAD (not a dentist) if you wish to leave your opinion (had this happen last time comments will just get deleted) or feel free to message me. I’m open to all opinions, professional or not.

I tried to take a variety of photos not just in a flattering angle.

Does any of this sound normal?

I had 4 front cosmetic veneers replaced with crowns (I was told for cosmetic and durability). The crowns began causing me unexplained pain (Endo ruled out, etc etc) finally after almost a year of no answers prostho and perio told me I needed crown lengthening done to correct biological width invasion and replacement of crowns.

I’m going to try and keep this simple but basically I had a plan lined up with another dentist to remove the crowns but we had never discussed crown lengthening there. Day of appointment (which I thought was another consult), I told him what perio said about crown lengthening and he said that was what he was going to do.

I am very non-confrontational and have a hard time advocating for myself. I was scared shitless and still didn’t really understand what crown lengthening was but I went with it.

After the procedure he put temps on me and when I asked when I was going to be able to approve the design he basically told me these are the finals and that I can’t really change much about them.

I was leaving the country in about 8 weeks and needed to have this all done before then, which my dentist was aware of and told me it would be no issues. So I just felt very pressured to go along with everything.

My main concern is that he scanned my teeth for the lab at only 3 weeks post crown lengthening and now I have black triangles and gum recession around my permanent crowns. Food is getting stuck around them super bad. It just feels like maybe my gums weren’t healed enough for the scan?

He told me the gaps were “by design” or else I’d have the same issue again. Does this sound right? I am about 4 months post crown lengthening now as I write this post.

I have told him I’m concerned about how my gums look and he just said they look way better than before and you can’t see it when I smile… I still need to tell him at my next follow up about how bad food is getting stuck.

I consulted another dentist who sent me to perio and the period ended up knowing my original dentist very well and basically just didn’t give me any info, I feel as though he doesn’t want to get involved.

How painfully obvious are my crowns/veneers? :(

I have a long complicated history… but this fix was supposed to help. However, the dentist really did let me have input on the aesthetic aspect. I really wanted them to look natural and I’m feeling like a horse with dentures. I had to have crown lengthening done as well so that’s making them seem even bigger than before.

My biggest insecurity is everyone around me knowing I have fake teeth.
