How rich was John really? How much did he get from the access graphics sale?

I’ve seen so many different estimates of how wealthy the Ramseys were, and I’m curious what the reality was. Were they considered ultra-rich, or were they more like an upper-middle-class or affluent family? Like rich doctor/lawyer level?

I ask because they had a private plane, a boats, and multiple vacation homes, which seems like more than what most successful doctors or lawyers could typically afford. At the same time, I imagine a lot of John’s wealth may have been tied up in stock or restricted shares rather than being liquid cash.

Is there any reliable information about how much, if anything, John Ramsey personally received from the sale of Access Graphics? And how much he was even making a CEO? I’ve seen people claim he made around $300 million from the sale, which seems extremely unlikely. I’ve also seen comments saying he’s worth around $400 million today. Are there any credible sources for those numbers?

Unpopular opinion: If Jackie had been alive to see that fight in the park, John NEVER would’ve married Carolyn

Everything comes down to whether Jackie would’ve lived long enough to see the relationship and meet Carolyn.
I’ve seen a lot of people say John and Carolyn still would’ve gotten married and that Jackie would’ve loved her, but nahhh. Jackie had a lot of influence over John’s decisions, and her opinion carried a lot of weight. If she had been alive to see that fight in the park, he would’ve had to find someone else because I just can’t see Jackie being okay with the family being embarrassed like that and them putting their hands on each other, cause she was all about “class”

If Jackie had accepted her, I think her life would’ve been completely different and so much easier. She would have had protection.

Is it true that Jackie wanted Caroline to marry an old money WASP?

Someone said this is the reason she didn’t like Ed, because he was Jewish and didn’t come from a very rich family and that she actually tried to dissuade Caroline from marrying him. Any truth to it?
