Would you watch a YouTube channel built around absurd fictional “Reddit stories”?
I've been writing some absurd first-person stories and I'm considering turning them into a YouTube channel.
The idea is basically ASMR-ish storytelling: calm narration, simple visuals, and weird/absurd stories that start somewhat believable before gradually getting ridiculous or unsettling.
For example, I just started writing one called “My neighbor keeps moving my trash cans every night. The strange part is, I think it’s the exact same three inches.”
I'm not expecting this to instantly make money or anything. I'd mainly do it because I enjoy writing/recording, and if it eventually gets enough traction to monetize, cool.
Does this sound like something you'd actually watch/listen to, or does it sound like a waste of time? I'm looking for honest opinions before I commit to making a bunch of these.
