Let's talk about how transgender pornography harms trans people.
To the porn industry, and to all porn consumers and *a lot of other people,* a transgender woman is just a girl with a dick. A forbidden fruit, an exotic fantasy to be prized. Some of the most popular trans porn on Reddit focuses on the allure of a woman's penis hypnotizing them, or god forbid, penetrating another woman or man. As a result, a lot of people have it in their heads that trans women want to be their "dommy mommies" who want to peg them, and this mindset has spread *far* beyond the gooner spaces, leaking into the more normie subreddits where a large contingent of people think that trans women are dominatrices with penises, and this has led to a lot of painful struggles and conversations between trans women and their partners.
In reality, all transgender people are people who suffer from gender dysphoria. Imagine that you're born a man, and live as a man for most of your childhood, but throughout your whole life, you've *hated* the fact that you're a man. Well, you are trans. Specifically you're considered an "egg," someone who is trans, but doesn't realize it yet, mostly because they haven't thought about why they suffer from dysphoria. Most people assume gender dysphoria is simply body dysmorphia when it *isn't.* When women transition (that is, taking HRT, going on puberty blockers, and potentially other surgeries), dysphoria goes away. Many trans people after transitioning still struggle because of the fact that they don't look enough like their cis peers, but that isn't gender dysphoria, that is actual body dysmorphia, and usually, all it takes is time and self-acceptance to move on from.
Notice how I didn't mention the genitals of trans women - that is because most trans women despise them. All trans men wish they had penises, and all trans women wish they had vaginas. The reason bottom surgery isn't very common despite the vast majority of trans people having bottom dysphoria is because the prospect of getting an important part of their body surgically removed is obviously terrifying and hard to come to terms with, alongside the fact that bottom surgery is both expensive, and not covered by insurance because insurance companies consider it an elective surgery. Without testosterone being naturally produced by the body, the penis shrinks up, not able to become naturally erect. So then how do all these transgender actresses manage to have such large members for their photoshoots and videos? Well, they are instructed by their handlers to pause their HRT and take a testosterone injection in order to get huge erections, which is an extremely dysphoric experience.
In short: what's seen in transgender pornography is not real at all, and it is solely the reason why chasers exist, who expect trans women to look and act exactly the way desperate trans women do when they humiliate themselves just to get by because society is very transphobic. It creates very harmful stereotypes about trans women, which has helped fuel hatred and bigotry towards them. Most trans women that I have talked to wish that they never existed as a porn category.
