We’ve seen jailbreaks and exploits on PlayStation consoles, yet Xbox One and Series X/S still seem much harder to crack.

Does this mean Microsoft has better security than Sony, or is it more about differences in their hardware, operating systems, and security architecture?

I’m curious to hear from people who understand console security and homebrew. What exactly makes Xbox so difficult to jailbreak compared to PlayStation? Is it genuinely more secure, or have hackers simply had less success finding and exploiting vulnerabilities?

Has anyone else noticed this?

I’ve seen this happen **more than 5 times now** where a damaged or scratched PS4 game disc won’t copy/install properly or on a PS4, but when I put the exact same disc into a PS5, it reads it and installs the game without any problems.

Why does this happen? Does the PS5 have a better/more tolerant Blu-ray drive or better error correction when reading damaged discs?

I’m genuinely curious because it seems too consistent to be a coincidence.

I’m confused about:

• How to make the PS5 detect them
• Whether I need to install them differently
• If exFAT is even the correct format

Would appreciate a simple step-by-step explanation 

I’ve noticed this for a while now and it genuinely confuses me. Every time I see someone’s TV setup, a shocking number of them still have that big plastic film/peel off screen guard on the display. Sometimes for 1-2+ years after buying it. And the manufacturer stickers with the specs and model number are still proudly stuck on the bezel.

Why are people scared the screen will get scratched the second they remove it? Do they think it protects against kids/pets/dust? Or is it just laziness/forgetfulness?

I peel that stuff off immediately because:

• It dulls the picture quality (especially on brighter rooms or HDR content)

• The plastic gets all wavy and dusty over time

• It just looks unfinished

Am I missing something? Is there a legitimate reason to leave it on long-term?

(And yes, I know the stickers are sometimes useful for warranty, but two years later?)
