Rear crank sleeve

Hello everyone, has anyone installed a speedi sleeve, or any sleeve in general on the rear crank of their 944? I’m looking into possibly doing it but I’m unsure of how to go about the flange removal, and I’ve read on forums that the flange bottoms out before the sleeve is flush. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Small nick/scratch on crankshaft

I was replacing my 1983 Porsche 944 Rear main seal and accidentally nicked the crank. I have sanded and polished the small scratch and it now barely catches my fingernail. I’m trying to find the best solution before I just send it with a new seal and want some input. I’m worried about installing a sleeve as I also gouged the rear girdle a little bit, and I’m worried that the flange of the sleeve will ride up on the gouge causing damage to it, and the space is so tight I’m unsure I’d be able to remove the flange. I’m very upset with myself as this is my first big diy and don’t want to risk a leak that’s bad enough to glaze my new clutch. I posted a detailed. Up close photo and one further away for size reference!

Arrma Fury appreciation

After running 10 full bashing sessions with 3s on my 223s Arrma fury, it has more than impressed me from a durability and handling standpoint. This thing was less than $300 all in with a 3s lipo and charger and it has been out bashing while my friends with slashes keep doing repairs lol, I’d buy this 10x over! First “repair” is going to be tires and a body!!!

Scraping sound on Decel

My 944 has been making a scraping sound when letting off the throttle in lower gears, most pronounced in 1st, 2nd, 3rd. It also seems to make the sound if cruising at like 2800-3k rpm’s in 2nd gear. I drained the trans fluid and it looked decent, no metal chunks, just a little murky. I have attached a video, sound is prevalent in the rear outside of the car but on the inside it’s harder to tell. Any help would be great!!!
