(self) My haruhi cosplay from comicon 2024!

I’ve recently been seeing a lot of haruhi cosplays and realised I never showed my own! I recall talking a lot with other older anime fans that day, I wish i got their contact deets!!

I regret not taking any solo photos cus i was too shy to ask my friends :,) but I would love to cosplay as her again + other 2000s kyoani characters soon :)

Where to get birth control?

Not sure if this is allowed on this subreddit, but I have a question for the girls! Basically I know absolutely nothing about birth control as I’ve never had any formal education or discussions since I grew up in a very traditional and religious household/school. I don’t know how or where I can make an appointment to get access to it in Norwich, and I can’t go to my GP either because if any of my parents friends notice me they’ll definetly mention it.

I also have a lot of questions so if any girls would be happy to answer them, I’d really appreciate it 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

Is anyone in NR5 able to take this dove to a vet or to PACKT

I have an injured juvenile dove (i think) with me and was directed to call PACKT animal sanctuary, but they can’t send anyone to come over and collect the bird. I don’t drive so is there anyone around Bowethorpe that could do it on my behalf?

update: I have taken the bird to pecksavers and now he is in their care :) Thank you

How different are dildos and the real thing?

I am a virgin and i’m meeting my long distance boyfriend in 2 months. I’ve been trying to prepare myself if (or when) we end up having sex, and I’m super nervous.

I bought a dildo thats around the same size as my partner, and I’ve really enjoyed using it so far. As it will be my first time I’ll obviously keep my expectations in check, and either way I value the intimacy over the pleasure. But i am curious whether they are comparable?

also any additional advice for first timers would be appreciated :)

Which shoes complement my Graduation dress?

I got a simple dress to go with my graduation gown, and now i just need to pick the right shoes :)

I’m having a difficult time since I’m trying to balance comfort and style. I want to look as tall as possible because I’m only 5’1, but I’m worried platforms clash with the sleek silhouette of this dress.

Any thoughts are appreciated, if none of these shoes go well with this dress I am also open to suggestions!

Thank you <3

Suede boots in jirai kei?

Confession: I’m not fond of bubbles/lizlisa/yosuke or any popular jirai shoe. I wear bubbles and yosukes because they go with my coords well, but I wanna explore my options.

I know with popular suna kei brands like michell macaron and honeymew a lot of the models wear these suede boots, so I was curious on everyones opinions on them for jirai :))

also are there any non-jirai shoes you like to wear?

Thanks!!!

I’ll be visiting my boyfriend in a few months and I want to look my best before i go! I’ve tried multiple hair styles and was hoping to get some opinions on which one suited me the most (my boyfriend is being a bum and keeps telling me whatever i like best lol)

Which one was my best hair style so far?

Sorry for the shit photos ;; But I’m visiting my boyfriend in a few months and I want to make sure I look as good as i possibly could. I want to get a haircut but I’m not sure what length looks the best and whether I should grow out my fringe or not!

any additional improvements i could make to ascend would also be appreciated !!

Meeting my LDR boyfriend

This is really embarrassing but I am visiting my boyfriend in a few months and I really don’t know how to approach sex because i have NO experience at all.

I’ve never had a boyfriend before, i haven’t kissed or held someones hand either, and i don’t know if thats going to turn him off or make things awkward.

We are both virgins so that makes me slightly more reassured, but I know I want this more than him, so I’m scared that I’m not hot enough and he won’t initiate anything. I also don’t want to give him a bad first experience and scare him off from doing it again with me.

I feel like it would put him in an uncomfortable position if i try to be subtle about it, but I also can’t put him on the spot and just say “hey do you want to have sex?”

We’ve been dating for quite a while so we know we are both attracted to each other. But when we discuss about how things are going to happen when we meet, it’s been more focused on me getting on birth control or we kind of just chalk it up to “we will cross that bridge when we get there”

Does anyone have any advice or similar experiences!! thank youu

I’m (21F) worried about intimacy with my boyfriend (23M)

We have been dating for 3 years and will be flying to see him this August!

We’ve talked lots about our plans and I am soo excited to see him! But i’m also extremely anxious if anything intimate happens.

I have no experience at all. Never had a boyfriend before, haven’t kissed or held someone’s hand either, and i don’t know if thats going to turn him off or make things awkward.

Do I accept this job offer?

I’ve been offered a position as a kitchen assistant at a nursery, but I dont know whether I should accept it or not.

context: I’m a biomed student who is graduating in July! I already have a part-time job in childcare out of school hours which i LOVE - it barely feels like work. However, I don’t get that many hours for obvious reasons.

I am currently looking for a second part time job as i’m going on a trip abroad on August/September, and figured it would be nice to come back and do something productive while I figure out what to do with my degree.

So on Thursday I submitted my application for a job, had the interview on Friday, and received the offer on Saturday. While it is a good position, I really don’t know if I should continue my search and have until Monday to reply.

Pros:

  • It complements my current working hours so I’d easily be able to maintain 2 jobs
  • I think it would be a good experience to have, and it wouldn’t take me too long to adjust since I am already familiar with the setting
  • I would have most afternoons off and all weekends off, so it would be easy to maintain a work:life balance

Cons:

  • They want me to work as soon as possible, but I have 2 exams left before I graduate (I’d have most afternoons and the weekend off to study though, so I doubt i’d fail)
  • I absolutely hated the kitchen I’d be working in. It was extremely disorganised and cramped,
  • More hours than I expected, so i’d defo be making over the tax threshold
  • They’re not very flexible and that’s a big concern to me because I will be going on holiday 3.5 months after
  • it’s a long commute (1hr from my house, 40 mins from my current workplace)

I asked my manager for their thoughts, and they said “If it’s for a few months then maybe you can stick it. But for much longer I think look elsewhere. You can do better”. Which I think helped, but I’d also really like to hear some other peoples thoughts so I’m making an informed decision.
