Black Pearl or Fortuna?

  1. The Black Pearl is very well designed.
  2. The upper deck and interior space are very well thought-out with the Black Pearl.
  3. On the other hand, the Fortuna has a ton of deck space and a ton of minifigs to play with.
  4. The color is nicer withe the Fortuna too.
  5. The sails on the Black Pearl are better secured also.
  6. Both ships are top-notch indeed. So fun to play with.

July/Aug haul (US/JP)

LEGO haul from Jul & Aug 2026. Added some LOTR sets.

During 2 months trip to Japan, I also found some retired sets (Dr Who, Star Wars 7666 and Indiana Jones). Searching for retired sets is part of the fun.

(Note: While I was away, a lot of boxes arrived.)

Use, reuse, calibrate and use it again

I have been using my cabin classic for >4.5 years. It’s been used for solo and family trips U.S. and international. Ages well, reliable and the most amazing thing is the lifetime warranty and repair service. I love Rimowa cabin classic and continue using it in my journeys. Cheers.
