Anybody Experience Ear Pressure After Insomnia?

My current severe insomnia began three weeks ago, and about a week in, I developed a pressure in both ears that has persisted and worsened to the point that many sounds are uncomfortable. I also feel discomfort from the pressure when the aircon turns on, when I drive, and even when I flush the toilet.

ENT I saw on Friday said I had a wax buildup, which could be the reason, but the fact that it began in BOTH ears at the same time, after several days of sleep deprivation, cannot be a coincidence.

Any of you experience this?

Seroquel Hell

Scheduled emergency telehealth with my psych last Monday after 8 days of increasingly decreasing sleep spurred a trip to the emergency room, and he prescribed Seroquel.

Drug DID put me to sleep, maybe 9-10 hours that first night, less since, BUT the side effects are hitting me hard, and today I think the drug is intensifying my arm and shoulder pain.

Damned if I do...

BTW the one Ativan tablet I scored from a friend on Thursday also put me to sleep, but only about 5 hours, maybe 4.

I just want this hell to end.

Looking for a Legit, Licensed Psychiatrist in Houston Who Prescribes Benzos

I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING SHADY OR ILLEGAL

What I want is actual licensed psychiatrist with an office and listing on Google whom I can schedule for a consultation to discuss my severe insomnia and who will consider prescribing a benzodiazepine like lorazepam.

NOT LOOKING TO BUY BENZOS ON THIS FORUM BECAUSE THAT IS PROHIBITED AND ILLEGAL WITHOUT A LEGITIMATE PRESCRIPTION

Again, only lookin for legit and above-board psychiatrist.

Drawbacks of a CVT vs Manual?

I have driven several manual transmission Honda Fits since 2008, but they are hard to find.

I just saw a listing for 2015 Honda Fit Hatchback EX 4dr Hatchback CVT, and I am wondering what the drawbacks would be of a CVT compared to a manual transmission.

Anybody in Houston Know How to Replace Clutch Pedal Stopper Pad?

Just learned from this post that the mysterious thing on floor of my car was the clutch pedal stopper pad which fell off...

https://www.reddit.com/r/hondafit/s/bvi2VaIjYg

They have them at nearby Autozone, but after watching a wideo I'm not sure I can do it on my own, especially if I have to remove the pedal.

Anybody in Houston area know how to do this?

Risks of Clear Traction Control Code P0833

2019 Honda Fit, manual transmission, 208K miles, with the VSA warning light on.

A shop pulled the code, and it was P0833, 12 CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH B STUCK ON.

The clutch appears to be operating fine, although another shop, a Honda specialist, recommended that it might eventually need replacement, a $2000+ job that I'd prefer to forgo and find another used Fit instead.

The shop cleared the light, and it was off for a while but later came on again.

Anyway, if the clutch seems to be working, what is the risk of letting this go a few thousand miles which is when I plan to try and find a replacement.

Any Experience With Trazodone and Tramadol?

When my pain management specialist saw trazodone on my list of prescriptions, she was hesitant to prescribe tramadol, but I explained that I was just taking a half dose of trazodone around 1-2 am to help me sleep longer and would only take tramadol in the late morning.

I thought they would not interact, and she prescribed the tramadol, but the weird feelings I described in my other post spurred me to look up how long they last, and apparently both last long enough that they are probably interacting, especially now that psychiatrist recommended taking full dose of trazodone at night to help with my worsening sleep issue.

I think I need to choose between the two.

A Picture of My Insomnia Last Night

Went to bed around 20:00 hoping to catch up, after taking the trazodone and citalopram, as indicated by the psychiatrist. Deseperately wanting sleep, I also added magenesium glycinate. Once in bed, I avoided being on my back for fear of that flood of chemicals, but when I got on my right side I started to feel it and was filled with fear that I'd never sleep again. Eventually I did fall asleep, and for over two hours, I think, which is unusual, before getting up to use the restroom. I feel back asleep right away and woke up again at 00:52, about two more hours, three since I got into bed, but that was it.

The rest of the night and early morning saw me experience...

* Feeling flush, warm, mostly my upper body, with tingling, especially fingers.

* Feeling like I want to crawl out of my skin because I'm so uncomfortable.

* Feeling like I'm having trouble getting enough air.

* Being on either side, which is generally the only way I can sleep, was often unbearably uncomfortable, so I shifted to back, which triggers bad feeling.

* Neck started to hurt, perhaps being in bed so long.

* Occasional shaking.

* Muscle twitching in my left calf.

* Random feeling of pin prick on different fingers, starting with left hand, as if my finger were brushing up against a piece of glass or had a splinter.

* Sweating, especially when I go to bathroom and stand at toilet trying to pee a few drops.

* Random sharp pain in left index finger.

I suffered through that, and probably more that I've forgotten, for a good 5+ hours as the clock ticked closer to when I had planned to get up to take car to Honda specialist that doesn't take appointments, so I need to show up well before 7:30 to be seen first. Around 5:52 I think I did fall asleep once on my back for more than a microsecond, maybe minutes, but then jolted awake violently.

Around 6:15 I got up to get ready to to specialist, but I felt so bad that I worried about not being able to tolerate waiting room or walking to Starbucks, so I went back to bed hoping to take it to another shop that opened at 9.

I don't think I want to take the citalopram again tonight if it, perhaps in combination with trazodone, is going to make me feel like this. A primary goal is to be able to work for the next two weeks before my job is done, and it is hard for me to function after the night I just experienced.

Also, citalopram can affect taste, and earlier a banana tasted funny, and now my oatmeal.

Barely functional now. Workout kinda helped but still exhausted.

Drifting Off Instantly Triggers Flood of Chemical That Jolts Me Awake

Can anybody suggest what might be going on here?

For months I've been dealing with sleep difficulty related to anxiety over chronic arm pain that manifested a little over six months ago, waking up in the early hours and unable to fall asleep again, plus usually not being able to fall asleep on my back anymore, only on my side or stomach.

Fortunately, up until a few days ago, I was able to fall asleep without a sleep aid on most nights, then take half of a sleep aid after 1 AM, like trazodone, hydroxyzine, or doxylamine succinate to help me sleep until 5-6 AM, typically 7-8 hours. However, as of the weekend I've been unable to sleep any further when I wake after 3 AM despite taking half a sleep aid, and as I lay in bed trying to sleep, something else is happening.

If I am on my back, and I start to drift off, the moment I enter what I assume is microsleep, some chemical floods my body. I don't know what it is, but it instantly wipes away the sleep and drowsiness and makes my body feel weird and my upper body tingle, sometimes lower body too. I used to experience this months ago combined with a gasp, like I had stopped breathing, but this time I do not gasp, only the chemical flood.

The feeling begins to fade quickly, and I begin to feel drowsy again and drift off, and boom, flood of chemicals. To add to the problem, if I turn on my side when this is happening, I feel even weirder--still cannot fall asleep.

Can anybody suggest what this chemical might be, what this condition is, and why I may be experiencing this (could be the recent depression triggered by worsening chronic pain).

VSA Light Risks?

My VSA light, solid, no exclamation, just came on.

I don't have a day off until Friday.

What are the risks of waiting four days to have this looked at?

I have no capability to diagnose it myself.

Did They Ever Discuss Clairo's "Flaming Hot Cheetos"?

I recently heard that Clairo had recorder a song title "Flaming Hot Cheetos" but forgot to ask this question, and now on today's episode of TC they use the song during the ranch dressing discussion.

Anybody know if they ever mentioned the Clairo song back when they were discussing FHC?

Did HAIM Ever Open for VW?

Wondering because last night I dreamt that HAIM did in fact open for VW, but I was late and missed it. I also missed when Ezra came out playing "Hold You Now" and then Danielle came out and joined in on her werses, something I always wished would happen whenever VW opened their set with that track.

Finally, after the show I spotted Ezra leaving and shouted something to the effect of "thank you for having HAIM open!"

Is theThermostat Malfunctioning?

2019 Honda Fit, 207K miles.

Car was sitting in sun for 90 minutes, and the temperature reads 99 F, yet when I turned on the engine, I get the cold engine indicator.

Is it possible that the thermostat is malfunctioning, and if so what are the possible effects?
