This is the second time I have used Benjamin Moore Aura and both times my painter has seem to have issues. I know this is supposed to be a high level paint but it just seems like he has issues each time. Is it him or is this paint hard to use? Is this a prep problem or lack of technique?
This was a room that was previously painted that he primed and painted over.
Am I being overly critical?
Mocha (male) is about 11 months old and hasn't changed weight or size in a few months so we are thinking he's basically done growing. He is currently 21lbs.
Anyone else have a smaller/small adult Lagotto?
He was not small at birth or when we brought him home at 10 weeks and his embark said he should be 30-33 lbs when full grown.
We're not complaining though. We like his small size haha
We are currently in step 1 of re-laying out our first floor to include the kitchen, sunroom, dining room and library although the kitchen is taking center stage. We are focus on turning it from its current 45 degree angle and getting it square to the rest of the house.
Off the first go is there anything here that jumps out as being something that is going in the wrong direction?

We are in the process of finishing up a basement bar room and need some help with picking a paint color.
For clarity on what is what in the first photo
we typically like a dark and moody vibe and that's what we are going for even though the full slab and countertop are definitely on the lighter side. The room recieves very little natural light so I am worried about color drenching the whole room and making it feel like a cave but its also not not supposed to feel cozy and for sipping whiskey and watching a movie.
I am struggling to find a dark color that we like and trying to stay away from the green as the countertop already has a lot of green in it but we are not opposed to green. We just painted my office upstairs essex green and really like it. We have been trying to find a gray we like but they all just feel silver and not moody.
We have liked most iron ore but are not fully liking it.

I am having huge analysis paralysis on choosing a grinder. I plan to use this for both pourover and espresso. I prefer light roasts and more fruity and sweet profiles and a more "modern" flavor profile for both espresso and pourover. I really like the look of the Z1 (if you can pretend it doesnt reuse mac stands), compact footprint, heavy build quality, and that I can use blind burrs. The DF83V3 I dont hate the look but it looks a little bulky for me and I hate the bellow. I have also read that the DF83V 3 has some possible alignment issues and stalling but of course I like the larger burrs it uses.
And then the Z2 is looming and looks nice and has the bigger burrs and quiet motor.

I am planning to open a self employed 401k through fidelity. I am self employed and have an LLC taxed as an S-corp and I am the only employee. I have a biz account with BOA and a personal account with BOA as well. I run my payroll through ADP. I pay myself a salary through that W-2 and I actually withhold almost all of the payroll instead of making estimated payments (its cleaner and easier for me).
I am a bit confused on the mechanics of making employee and employer contributions to the 401k? I thought that the employee contribution needs to be a part of payroll? If so how do I set this up through ADP? I see I can set up a "misc" deduction. If I wanted to do $1,000/payroll for employee 401k contribution can I just set this to $1,000 misc deduction and then move it to personal account and from there move to fidelity?
