[IN PROGRESS] Can This Tiny Device Sound This Good? - Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Mobile II | Atmospheric Black Metal Guitar Tone Test

I just created this short out of curiosity, but I’d like to know if anyone else is crazy enough like me to record an album using this tiny device.

"Using this little device, I’ve thrown myself into recording two EPs simultaneously for Mtvare. Through this process, I’ve learned how to properly record, mix, and master, and I’m very proud of the sound I’m achieving. I’m really looking forward to sharing both EPs."

Alene & Ocram - She is Eternal (2020) 15 minutes of atmospheric black metal

I went through a strange phase back then and never got around to sharing or promoting this song. I listened to it again today, and it did me good.

Alene Bandcamp (On Bandcamp, in addition to the single, there is a demo version and an orchestral version)

Does anyone know how to identify this song, please?

Sorry about the video quality. it’s from 11 years ago.

Even so, that music box from a small jewelry box, has been at my mother's house forever, and as a child, I was captivated by that song. I never knew where it came from. I’m currently using it as the intro for an album I’m writing, yet I still don't know its origin.

How to use Bandcamp correctly?

Hi there.

I’ve always used Bandcamp for all my musical projects ever since I started managing my own bands and solo projects. However, I feel like I’ve always been using it the wrong way. I can see that it offers a lot of potential, almost acting like a social network for artists and fans. Yet, all I really do is upload music, artwork, and info, and maybe promote it elsewhere; I don't know how to truly make the most of the platform, beyond just uploading music and simply waiting for people to show up out of nowhere.

What am I doing wrong? Or rather, what should I be doing right?

I suppose it also has a lot to do with the fact that the genres I operate in are very niche, Atmospheric Black Metal, Blackgaze, and things of that nature. I try to find loyal listeners who truly stick around because they genuinely enjoy the music, rather than just experiencing a momentary burst of fleeting popularity (within the genre).

The first single from a new project (FFO DBM, ATMOBM, POSTBM and Blackgaze)

Hey guys, a couple of weeks ago I released the first single from a new project I’ve started - Mtvare - one where I’m working simultaneously on two EPs with different vocalists I met in this community. However, I made a mistake, and the sound quality wasn't the best. It’s fixed now, and the difference is very noticeable.

So, I'm posting it here again; if you like it and want to support the project, all feedback is welcome.

Tell me what you think. I'm really proud of the sound because it's the first time I've done everything myself: recording, mixing, mastering and I think I've achieved a pretty decent sound considering I have no prior experience.

A new project has been born thanks to the Reddit community: MTVARE

Mtvare (Moon) is a new project I'm working on.

"Nost/algía" will be the debut EP in 2026.

Let me give you some context. I came to Reddit looking for a vocalist to record vocals on some old demos. Among the many people who contacted me, I met someone fantastic. His voice really resonated with me, and I wanted to work with him, but I wasn't going to give him those old demos. I felt he was a perfect fit for what I was working on. So I started sharing recordings and ideas with him, and we got to work very quickly. In less than a month, I had the vocals recorded. And here's the result: the first single from the EP we're working on for 2026.

Tell me what you think. I'm really proud of the sound because it's the first time I've done everything myself—recording, mixing, mastering—and I think I've achieved a pretty decent sound considering I have no prior experience. I'd also appreciate some feedback on the genre. I mean, there are millions of genres these days, and I think I've mixed so many styles here that I wouldn't know how to define it clearly. Sometimes it sounds like Post Black, sometimes it has Depressive BM moments, some Blackgaze and some Atmospheric BM

I hope I have achieved a special sound by mixing all my tastes and inspirations.

In this work, I will delve into introspection and nostalgia"
