Hidden Endings

Ok Instinct Faihful, I have a question. I'm wondering about the extra endings I'm seeing in the Extras menu. Has anyone attained them and if so, please share. Also here are the other questions pertaining to this:

  • How do you open Glacius' ship?
  • Where do we find the Artifact for Spinal?
  • Where do we obtain the gold for TJ Combo?
  • How do we destroy Ultratech for Jago?
  • How do we lose the Goddess with Maya?

No smart a** answers please. I'm just happy to play now.

Custom Buttons.

Hey there people. As you all know, I showed my 8BitDo Fightstick two weeks ago. Lately, I've been seeing some pretty nice stuff up here that has me thinking. Would any of the friendly people know where I can get some of those badass buttons? I've tried Google and the 8BitDo site, but they weren't helpful. Thanks in advance. Pic for reference if it appears.

I AM SICK OF ALL OF THE END OF THE WORLD PREDICTIONS!

I would like to ask the forgiveness of all of my fellow r/TrueChristian family if this has been posted numerous times, but I feel that I need to get this off my chest. As my Reddit Flair states, I'm reconnecting with God. I'm getting ready to purchase a brand new Study Bible and I'm wanting to find a copy of the Spiritual Warfare Workbook. But I can't help but get angry anytime on social media (i.e. Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) because I get bombarded by the constant barrage of "theologists" spreading their false doctrine. I've quit counting how many times I've had to reset my YouTube and Facebook content preferences. Here's what I've witnessed so far:

  • People swearing that 2030 is The End and the rise of the AntiChrist because "Jesus told them in a dream".
  • August 12th, 2026 is going to be a three day period darkness according to NASA. Not to mention that it was supposed to be at the end of June because a lady on YouTube had a dream from Jesus.
  • The Rapture was supposed to be July 4th .
  • August 7th is supposed to be a loss of gravity for a few seconds.
  • Apparently, people are hearing the Seven Trumpets and seeing dragons in the skies of Oklahoma yesterday. Just Oklahoma because I'm here in Texas and I'm up 18 hours a day and neither saw or heard a thing.

And that's just a few of the things I've seen. I've blocked so many of them because they are fearmongering people and upsetting people, while skewing the understanding of the Scripture. Jesus said in Matthew 24:36: "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." He'd go on to state the same in Mark 13:32. Yes, I do understand that he mentioned signs and wonders, wars and rumors of war. What I hate is how many people are so adamant on using the Word of God for clicks and income. Not only that, they're scaring people into oblivion without even attempting offer a minute amount of understanding. Now they're misconstruing Matthew 24:36, Joel 2:31 and Revelations 6:12-13. It breaks my heart just how many people they're leading astray or even running away from God by making him out to be some tyrant that wants to put us all into eternal torment. Not to mention people lapping up the poison Kool-Aid that is the Left Behind Series.

Now maybe I'm just overthinking, but I listen to many great teachers on YouTube on Sunday mornings and still read for myself. I'm not one wanting to be told what I want to hear nor do I have itchy ears for pleasure. It's just getting old at this point. I believe in doing as Jesus instructed in Luke 12:1 as well as being prepared for his potential return. I just find it sickening how many people have become "theology majors" in the last five or so years and are running people crazy. My r/TrueChristian family, I am so sorry for the rant, but I just really needed to get this out because it's just annoying and quite frankly, I wish these people would just go away. You guys, pray my strength in the Lord.

Butcher Box

Hello fellow carnivore family. First off, thank you all for the assistance last year and even recently. Also, thank you for the suggestions on where to purchase cuts. That's what today's subject is. Has anyone had any dealings with Butcher Box? I'm familiar with Wild Fork and we even had a Sprouts open near my house. Do you recommend Butcher Box? Thanks in advance.

Fight Sticks

Hello everyone. I'm new to the community so I beg your mercy if my question has been answered. I need a compatible game stick so that I can play Killer Instincy ( I have all of them)the right way. The TE is rare and people are asking astronomic prices for one. I need one that can hook up to my XBOX S seamlessly wireless preferred but I have no problem with wired. I also wonder can it possibly work with the likes of Streets of Rage and Shinobi? Thanks in advance.

That Cold, Cold Mirror That Stared Back aka When My Defeat Became My Victory

  1. That's the number I'm staring at currently, 36. It's been a really long time in coming and really a hard road that I've had to eat a lot of crap sandwiches along the way. FYI, they taste like you think they would. But I'm not here to indulge or complain, but to tell my story of how the tragedy has shaped me as the person that I am today.

It began in late 2023 and exteneded into late 2024 to recently. To me that was the beginning of what I thought was the end. My marriage was falling apart due to constant power struggles between my spouse and I. She'd started listening to misandric videos on TikTok and trying to apply them to our marriage. Therefore, what I had to say didn't mean a thing to her and it didn't help that she had her mom and sister in her ear either. On top of that I was working a grueling job in the oilfield where I was injured but still expected to work or I would be deemed as making excuses for underperforming. To say that this was terrible, was an understatement. My body was breaking down day after day and money wasn't coming in like I was capable of doing. We got evicted from our home, a four bedroom and ended up living in a one room house. She also had just had a surgery on her eyes and because I couldn't pay for it due to the aforementioned issues above, I was looked down upon. Everyone forgot all that I had done in the past to keep her safe and happy after one mishap. No one even cared that I was basically living off of microwave rice and canned beans just to keep a roof over out heads. I'd also pawned three of my most valuable guitars to help as well and nearly lost my car. There are many other details that I'd rather leave out. That's when my depression hit me like a ton of bricks.

The misandry got so bad that when I'd finally had enough of her mouth, I told her we were divorcing. I'd had all that I could stand and I was up to six feet above my head in debt due to everything involved. It also didn't help that I was working a job that I hated just to get by. I had to return to my job as a prison guard and my depression worsened. Couple that with the fact that my mother had passed away the same day that I was hired and you have yourself rollercoaster of emotions that just would not stop. I'd also started drinking heavily again and that wasn't helping my case as I'd slowed and almost stopped alcohol altogether by that point. I just couldn't win for losing.

The next kick to my face came from a guy I saw as not a friend, but a brother. We'd met on Facebook when we were still OTR truck drivers. We'd share stories and even had events in our lives that we had to help each other through, i.e. he called me at three in the morning because he'd gotten close to making a mistake that would've likely cost him dearly in the long run. Again, I won't go into details. He even convinced me to leave company that left me stranded and I even sent him the plane tickets showing him that I was flying out. We were close and I was even happy for him when he got on hauling mail, a job I couldn't have due to my driver history. He even helped me get my credit back in order and I would try and send him knick knacks from things he was a fan of due to the fact that I attend cosplay conventions when I can.

When I ended up working for the jailhouse, I revealed to him that I was planning on getting back in the truck due to not being able to live off of barely $2400 a month. Rent where I'm at is insane and my wife's medical bills weren't stopping anytime soon. In his eyes, I should've kept that job due to it being a government job with great benefits. Benefits don't pay the rent. The problem began when I wasn't answering phone calls like I used to. This was due in part to our schedules not aligning with one another and I'd even tried explaining that. Around what would've been my mother's 62nd birthday, I was in jail academy and my phone had to stay in my vehicle due to where I was. I would attempt to call him on the short breaks I was afforded and sometimes he could answer and sometimes he couldn't. On one of those days, he sent me scathing message about how I was a terrible friend. I responded by telling him that I was stuck in the classroom when he called and even sent him the schedule to prove where I'd been.

When I got into my vehicle to go home that evening, he sent me another scathing message. This time he went on to dress me down by saying that I was a lousy friend and that I quit answering his calls because I had acquired a home every day job. He then went to say that I was a liar about catching numerous infections that year and that I had no control over my own household and needed to grow up. A point of interest about the aforementioned is that we'd had two rounds of COVID in my household, I'd battled strep throat three times since going back to prison work and I'd barely cleared a tooth abscess and broken tooth that I was contending with for over five years. Granted, I never would've talked bad about the things he told me he had going on nor used them to destroy a person. He then used my saying of my door being "wide open" by stating that he was walking out of it with his head held high. He then told me to never contact him again and to f\*\*\* off. That was the end of a great friendship there and I do blame myself. My thing about that is that I also don't like burdening people with my problems and I guess by not being open, I earned that. Still, I won't speak badly of him as I'm not of that mindset.

As far as working in the county jail, it is as bad as the reader may think it is. I was spit on my second week in training and crucified because they had an incident with an inmate that I didn't bother helping in as they had it under control. After the aforementioned jail academy, I did receive a pay raise but not by much as it did nothing in the grand scheme of things. What I loved most was being put on the roughest dorm we had. I flat refused to run my blood pressure up for a bunch of idiots. I was even nearly jumped because my supervisors shut the phones off due to inmates showing the nurse their "goods" during pill pass. As you can tell by what I've typed already, I didn't care what happened to me at that point. The co-workers were no better and I'll detail below what I mean.

I was always put on a cell block with a camera looking over my shoulder. No problem as when I did the job the first time around, they were everywhere. Where there was a problem was the days where they'd call me after seeing me read work e-mails or listening to gospel sermons while still performing my job duties. I felt singled out as they seemed to be zoomed on where I'm working and not bothering other people. I was also written up when we had a fire drill. This was due to it being after 10 pm at night, having inmates asleep that I had to corral into a gym, one who refused to go into the gym and two in the shower that I instructed to stay there as I wanted to avoid them getting injured trying to get out in the lightspeed that they demanded. I was also told to keep them in the shower during training for that reason. After a couple of more months of the harassment, I resigned after getting a phone call from the trucking company that I am currently employed by despite swearing off this career. However, this is where the healing began.

After moving into the current home I'm living in, I began to look and assess exactly where I may have went wrong. On a particularly mundane night, I just sat in my bathroom. No music, no phone and just the shower running. As the warm water washed over my body, I imagined it as blood falling to the shower floor and flowing down the drain. It wasn't a feeling of elation, but a feeling of death and rebirth to myself. I'd started reading my Bible again (go ahead and have a go at me if you wish) and would pray. In those prayers, there was no asking for anything for myself, but a thank you for what I did have. I looked around at what I had and suddenly, losing what I had seemed irrelevent at that point. To better describe it, I'll list them.

* The anger I felt towards my spouse fell away and we drew closer. We now pray when we feel that something may come and draw us apart. * New opportunites came along in the form of my current job of hauling crude and actually being home at the end of the night. * I've cleaned up a lot of the other things in my life that used to burn me out and send me into a spiral of depression that I didn't need. * I've began finding joy in the things that I love such as cooking and music and now I come up with new recipes and new songs in my spare time. According to my spouse, I make a mean omlette. * My spouse is on the way to getting the surgery that she needs and we're praying that it will do the things it needs to do and we have faith that it will.

It's just so sad what it took for me to reach this point. I've actually grown from the beginning and am still growing as time goes on. I'm even pursuing my degree again and waiting to see what the future holds.

If you stayed long enough, thank you for reading this. I'm also open to questions, comments and poorly thought out d\*ath threats. That's my story and it isn't over yet.

So I Got Told That I Am Failing At Life But...

Note: This was typed a few months ago. Therefore, many things have changed since. Enjoy and feel free to comment.

I just don't see it. This statement was made to me back in 2024 when I last set foot in a truck. I was in the oilfield at the time and I wasn't doing too good physical or mentally to say the least. By that point, I'd been at it for 8 years. I'd been over the road with different companies as well and had just left one because I won't be treated as less than a person to work anywhere. I was told that if I wasn't happy, to leave and so I did. I went oilfield so that I could be near family in case something happened. Sadly, I couldn't do anything right apparently. I was always fucking something up in one way or two. I couldn't keep up as my body was shutting down at inopportune times too. I'd fractured my wrist, fought through infections and nearly crashed a few times owing to exhaustion. I was even left in a truck for two weeks with no a/c in 105 degree Louisiana summer and even when I was afforded the opportunity to sleep, it was impossible if it were past noon due to the heat. I even ended up losing my home but that's another story.

Then it came. A phone call among dozens because people were reporting me for meanial crap that had nothing to do with them such as my fashion, food and other unneeded bullshit. I was called "difficult" and "disrespectful" among a slew of other things. I was then told that I was "failing at life" because I lacked accountablity for my actions even if I was telling you I did it. I was then told that this was a reason that despite trucking for nearly a decade, I had nothing to show for it. This was a wash, rinse, repeat situation until the final day that the truck broke down and I was sent home for the last time aka "laid off". Now one would think that I would've been disappointed. Driving trucks was my childhood dream after all and now it was over. Quite the opposite actually. On the 9.5 hour drive home, I was actually smiling for the first time in ages. As that cool wind blew through my open windows that night, as the calm siren like voices of Ladytron crooned, I felt a sense of peace for the first time since the day I became comfortable in my own skin. It was damned near orgasmic. I was healing. But it wasn't over yet.

After returning home, I set about looking for employment elsewhere. I purchased a minivan and reactivated my Uber, DoorDash and LYFT accounts to make money. Later on, I would receive a call from from my local county jail to see if I was still interested in employment with their agency. They'd called previously, but I was still driving trucks and it went nowhere. I accepted and was given a test and interview date for the job which I passed with flying colors and was hired the same day. But my troubles were far from over.

There was still the matter of my life at home. Due to an eviction in the summer of 2024, we were reduced from a four bedroom home to a one room hovel where I slept on the couch while my wife and her mom shared a bed in the only bedroom in the house. It also didn't help that my wife had just had surgery on her eyes (a different story) and was needing another that I was unable to get done due to finances. By this point, her family was blaming me for it all. I'd gone from making close to $250k per year to barely anything in my time in the oilfield. Guess they forgot the $10k that my wife and her mom paid to a sexual predator who was trying to fuck my MIL and she wasn't having any of that. They'd make snide comments disguised as jokes, which was a poor attempt by the way. Another thing that they hated to admit was that my MIL and wife were stubborn as all outdoors even if what you were saying was dead on. They have their own home in a prominent neighborhood and act like they're the Brady Bunch. They also like to act like because one was a military lifer and the other has a Masters Degree in Education (something Trump has basically sent to the gutter), that they can do no wrong.

After about a month of that and the thinly disguised disgust towards me, I just left the house one day and ended up in our mall 45 minutes away. While I was walking around those noisy hallways, I was stopped by promoters of our local gym. Without thinking, I signed up and started the long and hard path of reclaiming myself. I've also started looking at ways to advance in my job and I've been constantly improving performance there along with regaining my mental health. I also have friends who have turned me on to new diet plans in order to help with weight loss.

Since then, I've become a licensed jailer in my county. I've just celebrated a year in my job along with rebuilding my retirement and great health insurance that I desperately needed. Also, the once rocky relationship with my sister is slowly healing as she's following the same path in the same career field. I've also made more time for my hobbies, made a bunch of new friends and have started taking better care of myself mentally and physically. I've recently signed up for martial arts, boxing (more childhood interests) and I'm back on that healing path I was trying to start long ago. But first and foremost, I'm reconnecting with God. And yes. Previous bosses have called and offered me jobs back with them, but I've declined as like someone put it: I'm not shitting and putting it back up my ass. It's been a long road and my saying is this: Life is a journey, enjoy the ride.

What did I learn?:

* No matter how hard you try, if something isn't for you, you're not going to succeed no matter how bad you want to force it. I drove those behemoths for 8 years and the final years are where everything began to fall apart. My final job proved it. Also, having that much money was more stressful than it was helpful to me. People around me demanded more no matter how much I did and continued to do. There wasn't a definitive win situation in this one. * On the subject of the family, yes they are better off and yes I'm sure that secretly they wish my wife had ended up with someone else. In ways, I do too. Maybe she'd have been better off and I wouldn't have had to deal with the scruitny surrounding these past events. To them, having the fancy house and cars (my MIL would about trip over herself to go spend a weekend with them) makes it like your shit don't stink. I've never really desired the big house and fancy vehicles. My oldest car is a 2008 and all it needs is a fuel pump to get going again and a new a/c compressor. I was quoted as saying that all I wanted was a decent home, a decent car and a well paying job. I have that now as described above and there's room for advancement. I was also made fun of because I didn't like to spend money on lavish things. You can't take the stuff with you when you pass this world, so I'm not building up treasures on the earth. * As far as if any more snide comments are made? Yes but they're far and few in between as they're quickly shut down and the conversation shifts. The most recent was for Thanksgving dinner. I was in charge of the stuffing last year. I didn't have a working oven and baked in my 7in1 air fryer. I was politely notifed that since it looked air fried, that a certain person refused to eat it. I responded by saying that you can't please all the people all the time and shrugged. I've got more important things on my plate than a picky eater. The less of a fuck I give about meanial shit, the more they realize just how less of a fuck I give. And I don't mind handing out a bras d'honneur or two.

If you stayed long enough to read all of this, I thank you. Also, if you're wanting to delve further on any part of this post, just quote and ask. TLDR I was told that I'm failing at life but I don't see it.

Leaving Corrections Again.

You read that right. Again. To preface, I've worked corrections before from 2009-2015 until I went for a CDL job instead. Around 2024, I decided to take a break from trucking due to mental anguish and nearly ending up in prison due to the dumb idiots that I encountered that year. I also decided to return due to needing to be home for my ailing mother and my spouse as well, so being 2000 miles away was not good. I accepted this job in November of 2024 as they called me while I was on my way home from being laid off. I took their assessment, got an interview and passed with flying colors. I was then hired and started immediately. I even survived on barely enough to get by until I went to our jail academy and received our pay raise. As of now, I've been here a year and a half and today is my final day with this agency as a whole. I'm actually depressed to be honest, because I've met some interesting people here and even helped rehabilitate a few inmates that I still see even now and they've left jail and become successful men after leaving the criminal life behind. I know I can do more here, but the reasons I'm departing will be listed below.

  1. It's not about rehabilitation. As I mentioned, I've had some of my inmates depart from my facility and are doing well. In my time here, I've even mentored a few of the 17 year olds that we would inevitably receive. I've gotten in trouble for this as they feel like we were "forming" a relationship. The prime example was when I had a young man who was looking at 20 years for his charges. It was 11:00 at night and he was restless. He asked me if he could pick my brain as I'd worked State Prison before (TDCJ, see above) and I obliged. He wanted to know what he could do to make is time go on and be easier. I then explained to him the different programs he could get into and even earn some certifications. As one could guess, I got in so much trouble for this as I mentioned before. Another was an officer who would come in and bring a cease to the peace as soon as he hit the floor. I literally had to stop an inmate from beating the snot out of him at 7 in the morning. Thankfully, he listened to me as he could've easily beaten me down just to get to him. This wasn't the only time. He also riled up that same cell block and sent four inmates packing after he put his hands on one of them. When asked by a supervisor what I'd witnessed, I stuck to facts, but those inmates were still penalized over that. It's not about rehabilitation at all. Before I'm judged, I get the whole "inmates are not your friends" rhetoric. They still have rights and we can be in violation of penal codes if we violate them.
  2. Your co-workers are your biggest obstacle. I've always believed this and it goes without saying. I've had co-workers throw me under the bus when I had no idea what was happening. I've had to walk into a cell block and calm the inmates because the officer previous had mistreated them. I can remember when I had to stay until midnight after being on the job since 6:45 that morning because people refused to come to work due to the annual carnival in town. I still had to return the same day off if two hours of sleep. Also, I sure as hell don't remember getting extra pay for that either. I also don't believe in "clique" culture and have always been a loner. Betrayal is rampant and I've been put in danger multiple times because of them. They're also the reason that administration comes down on all of us who actually do our jobs.
  3. Constant targeting. My favorite part. In this short 1.5 years, I've noticed how they always seem to on my case about something. Be it me trying to keep inmates sane (see above), walking on my cell block, while trying to attempt to catch me doing something while I'm keeping peace on my assigned unit or just constantly targeting cameras where I'm working in order to watch everything I'm doing/supposedly not doing. I've told the under no uncertain circumstances that I felt I was being harassed. I can rememeber when they decided to run a fire drill at 10:30 at night (lights out) and watched on my block as it was disaster. It was like trying to move cattle in that dorm while I had over 40 people I had to get out of bed, two in the shower that I told to stay due to there being a possible slip/fall hazard due to the water and one who refused to get out of the bed and enter the gym. I was then called to the office and dressed down like I wasn't stressed enough about that situation. When I was clocking out to go home, I was held back and given a level 1 disciplinary over that episode. I was pissed off.
  4. My mental health. If you stayed long enough for this, thank you. I'd recently decided to stop swearing and taking better care of my health due to four previous heart attacks in my early 20's and mid-30's. So I don't get loud with the inmates as there is no reason to run my blood pressure up when I can handle their guff in other ways. About two work cycles ago, I finally cracked. I was called on my block yet again for something so simple. By then, I'd had all that I could stomach that day. When the end of the day came, I had two inmates decide to horseplay which is a huge offense in our agency as it usually leads to fighting. I was on the phone with my wife and she heard me let off about 16 f-bombs after I'd sworn off cursing due to trying to reconnect with God. This is when I knew it was time. It also didn't help that I would go home and eat ibuprofen like candy due to the stress and headaches from situations like I mentioned. I put my resignation in last Thursday.

Before anyone who reads this starts trying to shoot me down over my reasons, understand something. When I did the 5 year stint for TDCJ, I was just the same as I am now. I treated the inmates with respect and about 75%-80% of the time, they returned it. My previous supervisors in the first years appreciated the fact that I could about go an entire night that didn't involve anyone fighting, me being injured or someone dead. In this agency, I've handled emergency situations without it sounding like Little Boy dropped in Japan again and even saved a few lives in the process due to medical conditions. As I write this, my heart is heavy due to the fact that I really love this job. I just can't put up with this malarkey any longer. If you have questions be it the good, the bad or even the ugly, feel free to ask.

This little cutie adopted my wife and I yesterday. I was out doing a delivery when she climbed on my leg and decided to come home with us. She's a cute little ball of joy and hates to leave my side, though she got out last night and vanished for a while. She came back this morning and my wife brought her to bed where she immediately cuddled next to me and slept. The bad news is that I can't keep her due to having a male cat in the house and she's made it clear she wants absolutely NOTHING to do with him (he's been fixed for years). The good news is that my MIL has agreed to take her and since her other cat passed, she's more than happy to have her. Currently, I call her Pasadena after the street she adopted us on. This may change/
