For almost a week things have suddenly changed where there are little to no people going for the Queen in the Harvester lobbies, and it has been one of my favorite modes for months. Idk what changed, what I missed, where everyone went?

Omg have i found my people? Fellow medics unite!

Years ago I was home alone, my mom had my baby, my then-husband was at work. We didn't have anyone else who lived there. I was in down a long hallway in the computer room and I heard the door open, so I get up and I go down the hallway that's directly in front of the front door and and see that no one is there. So I assume that i was hearing things and I go back to the computer room. A few minutes later, I heard the sound again and what sounded like someone sliding something in front of the front door so I go check again and I see that there is no one there.

So at this point I'm like... that's kind of strange but I go back to the computer room. I was in a chat with some friends playing a game and I let them know what was happening like.. That's kind of weird, right? And we ended up talking about it for a minute, I then hear the sliding sound again at the head of the hallway. The computer room was the last door on the left, coming from the front door going down the hallway. It was a hallway with like 6 doors.

So I hear the sliding at the start of the hallway. I poke my head out the door I don't see anyone or anything. We have no pets. So I go back to the computer room again and I tell my friends that I'm getting a little bit freaked out because it sounds like whatever it is is getting closer. But there's nothing there. This is a single family home. We have no close neighbors. It's a one story.

Okay, so I'm talking to them about what's happening. They're trying to distract me, and then about 45 seconds to a minute. After almost a min, or about a min i hear it again closer. It's coming down the hallway. So at this point I go check again, even though I'm very nervous, and nothing's there. So I just kind of I shut the door to the computer room, and I'm sitting in there, talking to my friends through chat and listening for any other strange sounds.

After another min give or take the sliding happens again, closer. It's about halfway down the hallway. I don't get up and check this time because im getting freaked out. The sound is loud, like someone was dragging a heavy tarp on concrete. Then again a little while later I hear the sliding again and it's almost at the door where I'm at in the computer room. And then again, I hear it about 30 seconds later and it's right outside of the computer room. So now I'm telling my friends jokingly, hey, if I disappear a ghost totally got me. I'm freaking out a little bit at this point. Trying to be brave.

And then all of a sudden right behind me right next to my ear, like someone's whispering in my ear, I hear my name whispered, clear is day, not a distant whisper, like someone was literally right next to my head whispering my name in my ear, and then nothing else.

That was the end of it. I told my family about it when they got home. I never had any other strange issues that I can remember in that home. But that stuck with me. I've told that story at least twenty times in my life since it was so disconcerting and generally a very strange occurrence. I couldn't figure out why it would have happened.What it could be for if a spirit was just messing with me. But it was just strange, and I wanna see what you think.

I have been taking Kratom for about 4 years, maybe closer to 5, and my dose has been high for the last 3 years. I was taking 4 heaping fluffed up tablespoons of the powder about 3 times a day after raising it for tolerence but finally realized I had to stop raising it for safety reasons. I knew they were banning Kratom but I thought I had 30 more days to stock up and taper down. I went in to get a bag yesterday and it was all gone and I had maybe 4 teaspoons total remaining, I took 2 teaspoons today and will take one tomorrow then continue tapering until its gone. I don't know how this is going to go and I'm honestly kind of worried. Does anyone have any insights on how to make a smoother transition after taking Kratom for so long at such a high dose without having anything really to taper with?
