Everytime i get invaded by a player and not an NPC it's always just someone teleporting around and hitting me even when i'm nowhere near. Most of the times teleporting behind me to backstab me and oneshot me.

I could chalk it up to the game being really old but what the hell still? With all the covenants and stuff isn't the PVP supposed to be a big part of the game? invading and summoning are always there and somewhat encouraged...

The game is from 2011, but in 2011 there already were a bunch of battlefields and call of duties and they didn't suck THIS bad

But what baffles me is that this is the REMASTERED version i'm playing, by 2018 everyone knew how to make good netcodes for multiplayer (Fortnite for example)

If this is what they could produce in 2018... is this just how the online portion of from software games is? just pure trash? does it get ANY better or is it all just abusing the lag and calling it "deep" for no reason?

I managed to whack it 5 times with a +15 zweihander in my last attempt and it didn't get cut off!

I've recently been doing my first playthrough of dark souls! plan to do the full series.

After acquiring the lord vessel a cutscene plays telling you to go to the catacombs, a place that's somewhere after quelaag (Lost izalith?) and the duke's archives.

So far i've acquired the souls of Gravelord Nito and i'm slowly working my way through the archives. But i already know that the lord souls are actually 4, cause i need to go to new londo at some point but i didn't spoil myself what i'll be doing there or who i'll be fighting (although i do know the abyss is an area of the game, i'm guessing it'll be that?)

But my question is... Does the game ever tell you about going to new londo? If there are 4 lord souls why does the game only tell you to go gather 3 of them with the cutscene?

Does frampt say something after getting the other 3?

I am currently struggling to get past the anor londo snipers. I either get pushed down by the arrows or by the knights themselves.

I managed to beat one and i was genuinely shocked these ones respawn for some reason. But whatever i just gotta quickly go grab my souls right?

A random red crab was in the way that made me stop for a nanosecond too long and i got sniped out of the bridge losing 40k+ souls

What happened?
