Not a mail day per se but got them at the Dallas card show and when I saw them it was an awesome feeling. It’s a bit challenging to come across these in person. I got 9 left to complete the Brooklyn team set.

‘53 Jackie was top of my needs list heading into the show on Thursday but ended up going back Friday and getting it(thankfully it was still there). The Kershaw was too good looking to pass up and whenever I see an auto by him with the 22 written its very tempting. I have found myself picking up more Will Smith patch/auto cards cause it’s ridiculous for how good he is and how relatively inexpensive they are then I turn on the tube and see him hit a walk-off HR gotta love it.

I got lucky finding the T206’s and the seller was super cool and nice. He admitted the sticker on them was on the higher side but I made my offer and he didn’t counter so that was great. I have 9 more to go for the Brooklyn set!

I ended up going back this morning and got the Muncy auto(first refractor of his that I got) and the Duke patch card that will match the Jackie version I got.

It will be a long two months until the next show but will of course probably have to cure the itch here and there in the meantime. Happy Sunday!

Had the Dallas card show this weekend and it’s always treated me well. The ‘53 Jackie has been on my list for a while and so glad I finally decided to get. It’s vibrant, well centered, the corners aren’t terrible IMO for the grade vs others I’ve seen in the wild. Got the Duke to match the Jackie patch card.

Got my first Yamamoto patch card and a couple old timers

These have come in the past couple of weeks. I’m now at 16/27 and my display wall case is coming today so I’m pumped to get them off stands and on full display.
