main project idea recommendations

Hey everyone,

I’m heading into my final year of my B.Tech in AI & Data Science and I need to lock in my main project. I want to build something genuinely interesting and cool, but it also needs to be academically rigorous enough that my college evaluators won't instantly reject it for being "too simple" or "not having enough scope."

I specifically need something that effectively bridges both Data Science (heavy data processing, analytics, pipeline building) and AI (ML models, LLMs, predictive systems).

For context on what I can handle, my current stack and background include:

  • Solid experience building RAG-based applications (I recently built an LLM-powered legal assistant covering Indian laws with a focus on vector storage and hybrid search latency).
  • Comfortable with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Pig, R programming).
  • My daily driver is Arch Linux (Zsh), so I’m totally fine with complex, terminal-heavy setups, intricate architectures, or algorithmic optimization.

I’m looking for project ideas that combine heavy data processing with a solid AI component. Ideally, something that solves a real-world problem or has a highly impressive architecture that looks great on a resume and is guaranteed to get approved by strict professors.

Does anyone have any specific domains, project ideas, or even recent IEEE papers I should look into? Any advice is hugely appreciated!

Need suggestions

I'm using realme 9 5g rmx3388 with dimensity 810 processor

There isn't any custom rom that's available for this device so I was thinking of installing a gsi and when I looked up online many were saying that evolution x is the best.

Can anyone give some advice regarding installing a gsi of crdroid, will it work properly, what issues I might face and maybe some guidance regarding this.

Also those who have installed crdroid gsi because evolution x custom rom doesn't support your phone what's ur review on it. Was it worth it. What were the issues that u had to face.

What I'm looking for is

Good gaming performance

Good battery backup

Nice ui

Customisation

Also I'm planning on not rooting cause I wanna use my banking apps especially Google pay and also I wanna use groww.

Please help me out,all comments are valuable

How would you invest 1 lakh

If you have 1 lakh rupees and you want to invest in the mutual funds, then how are you gonna allocate the money. If you r aiming on taking a moderate risk.

(Not 1 lakh per month I meant only 1 lakh, maybe think of it as pocket money aiming for max growth)

Was this a common form of punishment in schools, or was it unusual?

I was recently thinking about my early school years and remembered a punishment method used by one of my teachers when I was in UKG.

Instead of using a ruler or other forms of physical punishment, she would punish students by pinching them. What I remember most clearly is that she would often do this by reaching inside a student's shorts rather than pinching over the clothing, which made the experience feel more invasive and uncomfortable.

At that age, I didn't really question it, but looking back now, it feels unusual and has made me wonder whether this was something that was considered normal in some schools at the time.

I'm not trying to speculate about the teacher's intentions, and I understand that disciplinary practices were different in the past. I'm simply curious whether anyone else experienced something similar and how it would generally be viewed today.

Has anyone else come across this kind of punishment in school?
