Izričito je zaželio da ga Nikki "voli više od ikoga na svijetu".

Većina ljudi voli nekoga više od ikoga na svijetu, a ipak nisu demoni koji pišaju po sebi i kolju ljude.

Kad mu je frend zaželio milijardu dolara, točno to je i dobio. Znači ovo nije ona situacija da se nepažljivo izrečena želja pogrešno protumači kao nešto zlo.

Da je zaželio da ga voli više od IČEGA na svijetu, onda bi mi imalo više smisla. Onda bi ga voljela više od odlaska na wc, ljudskih morala itd

Kada se svaki natjecatelj okreće ekipi, i 12 puta u emisiji moramo čuti varijaciju "Uzmi srednju i vrati nam se"... koja je svrha ovoga? Kao da će to što ekipa kaže imalo utjecati na odluku natjecatelja? Pogotovo nekog tko si je već zacrtao uzeti nižu i biti parazit

Primijetio sam da su u starijim prijevodima knjiga na hrvatski (1930-e ili čak 1950-e) rečenice gotovo uvijek nekako nepotrebno rascjepkane zarezima zbog čega mi zvuče dosta neprirodno. Npr. "On je čuo, da se nešto sprema, no nije znao, hoće li uspjeti, da svom prijatelju kaže, što je sve vidio."

Je li to možda zbog doslovnog prevođenja struktura iz njemačkog ili francuskog na hrvatski? Ili se tako pisalo i u domaćim knjigama? Kada se prešlo na prirodniji stil pisanja?

I loved everything about the movie right up until the ending. I have no problem with tragic endings, but this one felt incredibly forced.

After being remarkably sharp and resourceful for the entire film, Jake suddenly decides to confront Noah Cross at his house alone, which makes no sense at all and is completely out of character (what would that accomplish?). Noah then reveals the one thing Jake apparently never considered, a gun, and Jake immediately folds and drives them straight to the girls.

Then there's the scene with the police. Why were they already waiting at the exact spot in Chinatown, how did they find it? Cross clearly doesn't know where it is since Jake has to drive them there. And his reaction to getting shot is ridiculous, like he got stung by a mosquito. He then (a man in his seventies) shrugs off the gunshot wound and manages to chase after the car at basically the same pace as everyone else.

By this point my immersion is completely shattered. Instead of feeling the emotional weight the scene is clearly aiming for, I'm left wondering what on earth just happened. It just feels sudden and unearned.

Near the end of the movie. Seriously, what was his plan? To talk to him alone about his crimes? Why didn't Jake bring the police (before he knew they would protect Cross)? How did he not expect Cross the powerful billionaire to bring backup? And why did he then drive them directly to Evelyn and Katherine, instead of attempting to stall for time, driving them to a fake location etc

Što mislite o ideji da npr. jedan roditelj od malena priča s djetetom samo na hrvatskom, a drugi samo na engleskom? Jeste čuli za ikoga da to radi? Navodno je vrlo učinkovita metoda i djeca bez problema pokupe oba (OPOL - "One person, one language")

Seriously, this movie is considered some kind of classic? The part where Calogero is played by a kid actor is decent, but my God, the adult actor and his love interest (Lillo Brancato and Taral Hicks), it was genuinely painful to watch.

Absolutely no chemistry, their line delivery was like watching a middle school play. I guess when people talk about this movie they remember De Niro and Chazz Palminteri and sort of forget about how dreadful the rest of it is.

Imam 19 god i jako bi se htjela prijaviti, imam neki uzasan strah da ce emisija zavrsit prije nego sto uspijem jer vec dugo ide 😅 a opet si mislim da je bolje prvo skupiti malo vise godina znanja...

Ja sam osobno prestala jer u 99% slucaja kompletno izignoriraju bilo kakvu preporuku, ne znam je li u njima problem ili je to uobicajeno
