We're looking to avoid the 2 hour drive to the ferry, and the local tour guides here ask for 3,500 pesos to drop us off in holbox.

Is there another way, or service that offers dropoffs and pickups between Holbox and El Cuyo?

I've no problem paying, 3,500 just seems a bit much for that kind of ride.

Whether it be tacky touristy stuff, or local favourites - tomorrow's our last day in Oaxaca city and I'd love to hear yall's thoughts on a good closure!

We've been to Monte Alban, hiked Benito Juarez park all the way up to La Mina, visited the Santo Domingo and Pintores Oaxaquenos museums, got ambushed by the restaurant personnel at Pasillo de Humo, walked around Jalatlaco, and went mezcal tasting in Santa Catarina Minas.

If you were to recommend us one or more must-sees before we fly to Merida for the rest of our trip - what would it be?

TL;DR - How does (and should) one become a creative strategist through the integration of user-acquisition methods and practices into his current role as a creative?

I'm a certified Copywriter and have been a Senior Creative for the past 9+- years, mostly in advertising agencies, but recently at a crypto (yeah, I know) startup.
Today, the company's CEO asked me to come to his office, to tell me that I've been awfully quiet latley and that he wants to know what's been going on.

Funny enough, I was in the midst of writing a letter to the CEO, explaining all that's been going on with me lately - about how my responsibilities have shrunk, my superior's neglect of the entire marketing department, and my feelings of burnout in relation to me occupying the exact same role for almost 3 years now with no foreseeable initiative on the company's side to enrich me professianlly in any way, naturally believing that said initiactive needs to come from me as well, but with the lack of "A lever long enough", and not enough knowledge of what the company actually needs strategically - it's very hard to do so.

Anyway, we've gotten to the point where the CEO asked me how I'd like to expand, dismissing my claim that the company's growth strategy is a complete enigma in my eyes, and I said that naturally, from the point of view of a creative, adding user acquisition and digital marketing to my skillset, thus being able to monitor and improve my creative output with data-based insights - could be a great niche that I hope the company can use.

He agreed, and told me to start researching tools & courses for learning user acquisition.
So, how do I go about it? do you think it's a good idea? how should I expect to be compensated for this expansion? where do I start?

In the place where I live, both authorities and individuals have adopted very little regard vor human life (similar to our unwillingness to regard neighboring countries' residents as humans) and so, I find myself every now and then listening to a song and thinking - "this may be the music I die to".

I was riding my bike this morning, back from an outdoor workout, and the traffic was a tad heavier than usual. I was riding on the road because, like I said earlier - no regard for human life, therefore no legit bicycle lane.

A car cuts me on the left just when a bus turns towards me as it's leaving its stop. I'm between the two with "Astroturf" in my headphones. And here's that feeling again: "this is a nice song to die to, I wonder if whoever picks up my dead body off the road will check my phone and get super into gizz because of this."
