I bought this indian dress in a church sale for R$1 (it’s like 20 cents in dollars) because it’s honestly, a beautiful dress and I upcycle most of the clothes I thrift, so I’m used to repairing stuff and all, but I’ve never got to repair lace and such a delicate fabric (the one from the lining). I think the old owner washed it in the washing machine and apparently used it a LOT, so it’s ALL RIPPED UP. If it’s unsolvable, I get to stay with the fabric, at least! But I don’t mind visible mendings and couldn’t cut it all up without being 100% sure that there’s nothing I could do… I know that it’s in BAD SHAPE so maybe there’s really nothing I can do about it and that’s ok too…

I’ve been training the hoop for a year and about three months now, and the hip balance was a goal of mine for so long!!!! The goal now is to stay MORE than 5 seconds balanced lol

I know it’s pretty much a big rectangle with some increases on the sides, but it would be so helpful to have a pattern at least for the shape of this, the flowers I can figure out for myself! Also, can someone help me to determine the weight of this yarn? I want to make a pretty dress!

Oi gente! Tava indo pra feira comprar fruta e comer pastel e me apareceu essa bolinha de penas no meio da rua completamente imóvel e com os olhinhos fechados, fiquei desesperada pra pelo menos tirar ela de la e peguei ela com o meu casaco, botei ela num canteirinho e pensei: “se ela ainda estiver aqui na volta, eu cato ela”. Dito e feito. Ela pareceu fingir de morta por um tempinho, mas ela está respirando e quando coloquei na caixinha ela se mexeu e abriu os olhinhos. O que eu faço agora? Ela está numa caixa de papelão forrada com paninhos, botei uma tampinha com agua no cantinho, fechei e fiz furinhos, fiz questão de deixar pelo menos no solzinho pra ela ficar quentinha. Estou esperando um amigo biólogo que já tem histórico de resgate de passarinhos acordar pra ver se ele pode ficar e cuidar dela, mas por enquanto sou eu e o google. Me ajudem por favor!! (Minha cara na segunda foto é porque eu já resgatei um gato ontem mesmo KKKKKKKKK, estou fadada a vida do resgate animal, pelo jeito)

UPDATE GUYS! My partner will take the cat. Some answers for you guys, before explaining the OTHER complicated situation we've put ourselves in for this little princess hehe. We're from São Paulo Brazil, but we're currently on the rural side, and our airbnb is 40 minutes away from the nearest city, that's why the pet shop thing was a difficult possibility (its an 11km dirt-road from here to the center of the city). My partner is currently in the process of renovating his apartment and it'll still take about 6ish months, so they would need to find somewhere to keep her temporarily (the options are 1. his mother's house, where he lives currently, but there's a Dog and no screens on the windows, 2. his aunt's house, but she already has 5 cats and her house it's a bit far, but we would make weekly visits, 3. a temporary home, even though we don't know how this service works in out city or 4. my house, but this would need to take some dad-convincing), we are still looking for our options because my partner JUST decided this lol. We woill go to the city on Thursday to buy the carrier and food so we can go on Friday. The airbnb owners don't really care about her, they said she lives "around" and that "sometimes" people feed her. Thanks everyone for the comments! It's de UCDS again!

Hey guys! I’m in an airbnb with my partner and a friend to make the short-film that said friend produced, she’s a cinema student and this will be her thesis! Well, there’s a kitty cat here! She’s the sweetest little girl, a little skiddish but super cuddly and talkative. We talked with the owners of the house, because the kibble they left her is at it’s end and we wanted to make sure she’s well fed while we’re here, and we discovered that she’s a lost kitty and they’re looking for someone to adopt her. Nobody here can actually adopt her (I already have two cats and live with my dad still), but it breaks my heart that she’s lost and I wanted to do something about it, I thought about bringing her home somehow, I haven’t thought of the specifics, honestly, I just wanted to do something and I’m sure I could find someone to adopt her or at least find an institution that could take care of her. But the thing is, we didn’t have any idea that there would be a cat here so we have nothing to carry her, the car is full, and I mean FULL because of all the equipment, cenography and all, plus it’s a three hour long trip. As I said, she’s a sweetheart but a little skittish, and I’m sure she would freak out during the trip, adding the fact that we don’t have a carrier nor a litter for her. I don’t know, I’m really sensitive with pets and it just breaks my heart that she’s out here, the house is really isolated and I wish I could do something :/.

I live in Brazil and we usually use other species as “bread clips” (2nd pic), I never saw one of these in here! So happy!!

She’s so tiny!!! We found her meowing around here, tha owners of the house keep food for her and we gave her a little bit of sardine. She’s a BIG TALKER and cuddler, she seems well treated (she’s not skinny and her hydration is on point [I have a CKD cat at home and can almost qualify as a nurse for kitties lol]).

It’s been a year since Mr. Cat, my 17 year old baby man, received his diagnosis of stage 2 CKD! Last october, he crashed out and gave us a big scare: he wasn’t eating, wasn’t drinking water, wasn’t purring and not even moving, he lost 2kg in 2 weeks. We really thought that this was it, but after 3 days of IV fluids, lots of packs of wet food and really REALLY expensive kibble for exigent cats, he’s back! He’s still a stage 2, his numbers are good, he’s eating A LOT of his renal food, he’s drinking tons of water, he gained 1,5kg back and he’s even playing again! The last picture is of him during his crashout, the others are him right now :-) Never lose hope!

My friends got him by the UCDS (Universal Cat Distribution System) because he fell off a roof somehow and the mom was nowhere to be found. He’s now 4 months and he’s CRAZY about food.
