Yes. I have been here for 5 days straight. My experience has been bad to very bad so far.

1. You ask them for a discount or bargain — they make a straight face and flatly refuse.

2. You ask for better service at any McLeodganj restaurant, they straight away ignore it. I asked for the AC to be turned on several times, but dare they did it even once.

3. I have travelled across 17 states of India, excluding Himachal Pradesh — read: McLeodganj. Each time I asked shopkeepers for directions to some place, they came forward eagerly and told me about it.

But the shopkeepers of McLeodganj carry such an inflated sense of ego that they will stay mum about any direction you ask, any recommendation you seek.

Totally disappointed. They should respect visitors — because they are what they are, because of us. Period.

Yesterday I went to Rcube Monad Mall, Sector 43 for Gaurav Kapoor's Show. After the show, I was hungry and went to this Birch Restaurant which was on the same floor.

Both dishes(palak patta chaat and sev chaat) , we ordered,tasted bad like rotten potatoes. They must have been sitting around for a week. The taste was not mild it was really strong and unpleasant. We honestly could not finish either plate.

I ordered one hoegaarden bottle and the waitress placed the unopened bottle and left...girl will I open it with my mouth or with my fingers ?

When we told the waiter about it he got really defensive. He actually threw the menus at us. I mean he did not just hand them over he threw them. It was like we were the ones who did something for expecting food that was okay to eat. He did not say sorry he did not even try to be polite. He just seemed to be saying "what do you want me to do?"

We were not asking for food we just did not want to pay for food that tasted so bad.. We did not want to be treated rudely by the waiter.

The seats were dorty and The prices, for that food and that service were crazy(2500 for the dishes). It felt like a joke.

Never going again. The place gave a very cold vibe. 0.5 out of 5 ⭐
