Blue Line experience yesterday completely ruined my mood

Yesterday I witnessed one of the most disgusting things on the Delhi Metro.

I was travelling from Botanical Garden to Rajiv Chowk on the Blue Line, standing near the doors. A man next to me was chewing tobacco the entire time, and whenever the metro stopped and the doors opened, he would spit directly onto the platform.

I finally confronted him, and instead of feeling embarrassed, he just smiled at me and casually got off the train.

People talk about cleanliness and civic sense, but incidents like this show why things never improve. Honestly ruined my mood for the rest of the day.

Midnight Snack

Made these amazing aloo tikki burgers for me and my partner as we were craving and Zomato/Swiggy didn't had any options.

Exploring the hidden backroads of Meghalaya on a Bullet 350. Sound on.

No music, no cuts, no cinematic transitions—just the raw POV of cruising through the greenest hills in the country. Meghalaya’s countryside is genuinely something else.

How many of you prefer a completely solo, unplanned ride over a strictly mapped-out group itinerary?

Regular Aqua Line commuters, what do you actually like and dislike about it? Let’s talk.

I’ve been spending a lot more time on the Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Line recently. Coming from the absolute chaos of the Delhi Metro Blue and Yellow lines, switching to the Aqua Line always feels like stepping into a completely different world.

It got me thinking about how people actually feel about it overall. It definitely has its massive perks, but it also has some highly frustrating quirks.

Here is my personal breakdown, but I want to know if you agree or if I'm missing something:

What I Like 👍

  • The Peace and Quiet: Compared to the rest of the DMRC network, it’s incredibly clean, spacious, and rarely feels like a wrestling match just to get a seat, even during peak hours.
  • Modern Infrastructure: The stations feel brand new, well-maintained, and the air conditioning actually works flawlessly during the brutal summer months.
  • A Lifeline for Greater Noida: If you're a student heading to Greater Noida or working out near the Expressway (Sectors 137, 142, etc.), it beats sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway any day.

What I Dislike 👎

  • The Sector 51/52 Interchange: I think we can all agree this is the biggest headache. Even with the dedicated walkway and e-rickshaws, having to exit the station, walk out in the heat/rain, security-check all over again, and re-enter to switch between the Blue Line and Aqua Line is a massive design flaw.
  • Separate Ticketing System: It’s 2026 and we still can't seamlessly use a standard Delhi Metro Smart Card on the Aqua Line. Having to use a separate NMRC card or rely on the QR ticket apps is just an extra, unnecessary step.
  • Train Frequency: During off-peak hours, waiting 10 to 15 minutes for a train can feel like an eternity, especially if you just missed one.

Over to you guys: If you use the Aqua Line for your daily commute or even just occasional travel, what are your biggest praises and major gripes? Is the last-mile connectivity from the stations getting any better, or is it still a struggle?

Drop your thoughts below!

Does home cardio eventually stop feeling mentally boring?

I genuinely like the convenience of working out at home, but mentally I still struggle with boredom sometimes.

At the gym there’s at least some energy around you.

At home it’s just me staring at the wall trying not to check the timer every 3 minutes.

For people who do cardio at home consistently, did it eventually become easier mentally or do you still have to force yourself sometimes?

Lazy Noodles

Got heavily drunk as I was alone in this weekend. Just stood up throw in some veggies with loads of garlic and Schezwan sauce.

It was amazing, not spend a dime now on Zomato

Which Delhi Metro in-train route map design was the best? 🚇

I’ve collected and uploaded various Delhi Metro in-train transit maps/signage designs used inside coaches

Some are older designs, some are newer, and a few look surprisingly futuristic compared to others.

Which one do you think is the BEST overall?

Could be based on:

• readability

• aesthetics

• interchange visibility

• ease for tourists/new passengers

• nostalgia

• overall usability

Also, which design do you think DMRC should continue using or improve further?

Curious to hear opinions from daily commuters, railfans, map nerds, and public transport enthusiasts 🚉

Hi everyone,

I’m a 26M professional currently working out of Netaji Subhash Place (NSP). My current daily commute is becoming a bit of a grind, so I’m looking to move closer to the office to save some time and sanity.

I am looking for a private room in a pre-occupied or shared 2BHK or 3BHK flat. Here are a few specifics of what I’m searching for:

  • Preferred Localities: Ideally areas with easy access to the Red Line or Pink Line (Rohini, Pitampura, Shalimar Bagh, Ashok Vihar, etc.), but I’m open to any well-connected neighborhood within a 20-30 minute commute to NSP.
  • Amenities: Looking for a fully or semi-furnished setup. High-speed Wi-Fi, power backup, and a functional kitchen are big pluses.
  • Budget: Flexible depending on the location and the state of the flat.
  • Timeline: Looking to move in as soon as possible.

A little about me: I’m a working professional with a pretty disciplined routine. I value cleanliness and a peaceful environment at home, especially after a long day at work. I’m easy-going, respectful of privacy, and always up for a good conversation over a weekend brew or a quick grocery run.

If you have a lead, a vacant room, or are also looking to team up and find a new place together, please drop a comment or DM me!

Hi, I travel via metro and sometimes I need to go at construction sites carrying my work and personal laptop. I am asking for suggestions for buying a new backpack which should look office going but should be tough to handle site conditions. My budget is upto 3.5k.
