I was never the type of person that would read for fun growing up. Not because I hated it, there were just other stuff that I liked doing more so I never picked up a book for fun.

This year, I am trying to read more and as much as I love the act of reading and getting lost in a new universe, I have a really hard time bringing myself to start reading. I think this is because of my procrastinating tendencies and lazy personality but I just dread having to actually start reading a book. Sometimes I force myself to read and sometimes I just don't bother and can go weeks or even months without reading anything.

I am not the busiest person out there, but sometimes I just have a lot of things to do such as having to balance my studies and my hobbies. And when I know that I have a lot of stuff to do in a day, I end up not doing anything at all due to feeling overwhelmed 😭

This can really affect my mental health and it makes me feel insecure about myself. Sometimes it also makes me wonder if I really like reading or if I just like the idea of reading books.

Please let me know if I am the only weird one and please help me overcome this 😭

Genuine question because right now every available chat style sucks.

When using pipsqueak 2, the bots barely talk as in having an actual dialogue, they are always going out of character, will attempt to kiss you every other message and will also answer in your place.

Soft launch used to be good, but the quality of the replies seem to be getting worse and worse. It is honestly a hit or miss. Not to mention that the bot will start getting freaky for no reason at all.

And don't even get me started on Meow. The reason why it's bad is pretty self explanatory 😭

I haven't tried Deepsqueak because I don't have a subscription, but from what I see on here, it isn't much better than the rest.

As repetitive as the original Pipsqueak could be sometimes, I can't help but miss. I had some pretty fun and memorable chats using that style. I never actually tried out Goro and Dynamic and I regret that because they're both gone now. However, I miss Roar the most 😞💔

Character ai was at its peak back when we didn't even have chat styles, those times will be missed 😭🙏

Edit: thank you all for the awards, but please save it for someone who needs it 💕

! Spoiler warning for other books !

I've got good news! 🥹

I finished Throne of Glass in the middle of march and ever since then I've been visiting my local library every two weeks in search of the second book and now I've been finally able to get my hands on it.

I am really busy with exams this month, but I hope I can find some time to read the book at my own pace. Even though I know some spoilers (such as >!Celaena being actually called Aelin!< and >!having her first time with Chaol!<I), I am trying my best not to let it get to me and I am hopeful I will love the story!

I wish I had started with The Assassin's Blade, but since I had TOG at home, I figured it'd be more convenient to read it first. Now, I am planning to read it after I finish Crown of Midnight.

I really miss Dorian and I am still a bit upset with >!Celaena for friendzoning him after making me wait 300 pages just to see them kiss 😭!< (I also know that he's >!ending up with someone called Manon and I hope she's good to him because that man deserves to be happy🫂!<)

I am really excited!!!
