Anyone into Projection mapping?

Im completely new to this and in need of some guidance. Any advice is really appreciated.

Environment and Projection Surface:

Small dark room and projected onto either one or multiple 50x50x50cm white cubes.

The following links are examples of what I intend to try.

https://m.youtube.com/shorts/cwQ7\_1hFYiE

Projection onto the side and front of a kitchen cabinet.

Projection onto a white cube and using an iPhone that has the mapping software

Projection onto multiple white cubes

May I ask,

  1. Are those doable with only one projector, or do I need at least two?
  1. If only one projector is needed, what should I take note of in terms of how I should map the images or video loops so that it won't look wonky or off?

  2. What should I take note of when buying a projector?

From my research, 1500 - 3000 lumens is ideal. But what is best? Should I just go for the 3000 lumens?

I assume for my purposes, I should be using an ultra short throw. But apparently, "UST models can struggle with highly complex 3D tracking sensors due to edge distortion." May I ask for some tips on how to address this?

  1. Any recommendations for a low-end projector that suits my purpose? Budget is below $500 usd. Yaber T1 Pro?

  2. What mapping software should I use? Im looking for something free at the moment.

Perhaps Lazy Lighting, 4 Mapper, Map Club, MapMap, VPT 8, Madmapper?

Any recommendations on those you've used before? Anything specific i should take note of?

Parents of children with autism, how are you coping?

How are you parents dealing with its impact on daily life, family relationships etc?

What are the impacts that most people dont know or would not even think about? Be it financial, emotional, physical?

And most of all,

Are you doing okay?

Are we a gated community or are our gates swung too wide? Which is it? Help me figure this out fellow H-angry Singaporeans, well-fed ones welcome too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZOguUsn-ls

Foreigners think we are a premium-only jurisdiction, and they say that our gahmen is making it more difficult to enter. COMPASS scoring is rigorous and even the GIP (Global Investor Program) is now more stringent. According to this youtuber (Nomad Capitalist), planting themselves in SG is now “more complicated than countries in the EU”

But then, we locals see and feel otherwise..

Some interesting insights from the video:

-Entrepreneurs who came to SG to set up shop during the pandemic are now moving back to HK.

-SG outpaces everybody else including all the legacy brand countries

-SG wants quality, high-income professionals. It’s tough to come in via the employment route.

-In HK, “undesirable” nationalities are allowed to go in and bank and work and set up companies, but less so in SG.

-Talent is welcome but with “high level discretion” and passive investors and “low substance setups” are getting “pushed out”. SG requires active economic participation and value addition.

Hilarious comments from the video:

-”Expats get it wrong....Singapore is not a 2nd Home, it's a 2nd Office”

-“Work in Singapore, Live in Kuala Lumpur, Party in Bangkok”

Parents of children with autism, how are you coping?

1 in 100 children in Singapore are diagnosed with autism, this seems like a very high number.

May i ask how are you parents dealing with its impact on daily life, family relationships etc?

What are the impacts that most people dont know or would not even think about? Be it financial, emotional, physical?

We have the Autism Resource centre (ARCs), but do we have enough sources of assistance or are we lacking?

And most of all,

Are you doing okay?

Anyone who works in the community, or who has autism themselves, or who knows someone with autism, please feel free to chime in too

Some questions if i may ask:

How large is it?

Is it difficult to find game devs?

How's the quality of game devs?

Any interest from foreign companies to make their games here? (Excluding ubisoft😆)

As a local, if I were to make my own game, can investors be found? Is this a pipe dream?

Any other inputs welcome!
