any tips on doing better as solo tank?

I am a duelist player mostly but i enjoy tanks (just groot and thing really) too and seeing as no one else was going tank, I went for groot cuz it seemed useful for the match, but I felt like I could barely do anything to change the outcome. We captured cart a few times but wasnt enough

I dont mean the regular unopans. Those obviously got annihilated. I mean unopans like allen who were a part of that special program in which only allen survived. So 40 unopans just like allen vs 40 viltrumites
