What is the next best/closest tire size to look at, if the tire I am purchasing is not available in OEM sizing? '23 FWD XSE - Stock 235/50/R20

Obviously the 20 number has to remain - do I change the width or aspect ratio? 245/50/r20 feels like it's my best option, or is there a different config I should look at?

Thank you

The Defender 2 don't come in my Sienna size - 235/50/r20 - Road noise/durability were my biggest draws - I swap snow tires yearly. Is there a close enough size I can safely still purchase for my vehicle? What would the next closest size be without realizing issues with MPG, Noise, Durability etc.

Or....do I just go CC2? I was pretty excited about the Defender 2, specifically for longevity & road noise - it was also slightly less expensive than the CC2

Looking for purchase advice on a Sienna FWD in SE Michigan. I need something for warmer months as I swap yearly for snow tires. Outside the obvious things I look for in a good tire, I'm REALLY looking for something with as little road noise as possible. Currently I have the Defender 2 at the top.

Is there anythign else I should look at? Read great things about the CC2, but I don't need ice & snow as I swap for a winter tire. I also read the Defenders are a little quieter.

Thank you

Might be a longshot, but is there anywhere in the metro area that I can rent a telescope for a week?

Edit: library looks like many have this as an option but not mine : Edit 2: I guess I have more to learn about libraries and will be stopping by a few!

I'd rather have a nice one for a trip than a cheap one that I'd rarely use again.

Can somebody recommend a place for reliably seasoned firewood? I keep getting "burned" and I'm tired of it.

Have tried a few landscape supply places that were hit or miss by the year, and bought some horrible stuff on FB

Between Nikon's 35mm 1.8 and 16-80 2.8, which one should theoretically be able to get a better closeup of flowers?

They're both very close, I feel like the 35mm might be a touch brighter and sharper, even though the 16-80 can focus at a closer distance?

I just think that could be wrong bc if I recall, the 35 has a closer focus distance I thought.

How to deal with lens fomo? Casual day trip with family, not sure it's worth taking my whole bag/or will have time to switch out lenses.

I'm going to an outdoor museum of sorts, Greenfield Village in Michigan if you are familiar. They have a bit of everything - animals, architecture, old cars, cool trains etc.

I have a nikon 70-300, 16-80 and 35mm 1.8.

I don't see myself needing the 300 at a place like this, but I'm really torn with just using the 35mm, or bringing my bag to swap in and out with the 16-80.

I appreciate hearing about others experiences and what you normally do when you aren't going specifically for shooting.

Does IBS ever make you 100% convinced you have a stomach bug, but turns out not to be?

I woke up in the middle of the night last night, nauseous, HOT, (feverish feeling, although I did not have a fever), headache, all the hallmarks of a stomach bug. After taking Zofran, which is now wearing off, I'm starting to realize I'm quite sure it had to have been something not agreeing with me / IBS flare.

Just wanted to see if I'm not alone on this, it happens too often where I'm convinced this is the time I'm gonna be down with stomach bug because of all the symptoms, then it passes.

Maybe I'm overthinking or missing something obvious but when I want most of my shot in focus, I know stopping down helps quite a bit, but I get stuck on where to aim my single focus point. Do I just aim for somewhere in the middle of foreground, middle and back of shot?

I'm shooting with a d7500 but I think the concept remains the same. I like the single point but it feels odd to me to focus on one point, knowing I'm trying to get as much as possible in focus.

I recently bought 16-80mm f2.8, & I can't decide if I should hang on to my 18-105mm f3.5. I have the 70-300mm f4.5 for some reach. Would you trade the 105 for something else? (D7500)

I know it's only worth about 100 bones but since I got the 16-80 I just haven't found myself going to it. Thinking maybe swap it for a 35mm 1.8? I've also wanted to get into macro but thats not gonna be possible here I don't believe.

Thanks in advance.

D7500, learning how to focus quickly on moving birds & butterflies..when I select 9 or 21 point AF, it still only gives me single to find my object, am I just not understanding? I'm using BBF if it matters.

With single point, trying to located these things in my backyard I just look like a nut job spinning like a top trying to lock onto them with a single point!

Thanks in advance.

Would 35, 50, or 85 f1.8 prime be the most logical next purchase (or something else)? I have a d7500 and own the 70-300mm 4.5 & 16-80 2.8. I'm a hobbyist who shoots a bit of everything. TIA

My budget isn't very much, maybe $250 used, max which is pushing it a bit.

I'd love all 3 of these primes eventually, but I'm wondering if there would be too much overlap from my 16-80 that I wouldn't go to them as much. With that, does the 85 make the most sense?

Can you setup back button focusing for only AF-C on the d7500? In AF-S I still need to press it to focus. Did I set up something incorrectly?

Just picked up a Nikon d7500 and am looking to grow my lens collection on a bit of a budget. What quality AF lenses should I keep an eye out for when scouring the 2nd hand market?

Scratch on top of this lens, listing says it won't affect image quality, is this worth the risk?

I'm looking for this lens second hand. Would you spend extra to get something with a better quality rating? It does say it doesn't affect image quality. It does also offer returns so it would just be an inconvenience.

Is $80 a good price for this tripod? I'm shopping around for my first and am a bit overwhelmed. I shoot with a d7500 and would love some type of quick release setup.

Does anybody use mainly AF-A, or do you always move between AF-C and AF-S?

Just curious if this is something you adjust before each shot, if you're in an all-around shooting environment.

Edit: I'm using a d7500

What's the difference between moving focus point to left or right third and focusing vs using focus point in center, and reframing while holding down?

I have a nikon d7500. I grew up getting so used to just focusing on my main subject then reframing to have them where I wanted them in the end shot. Is it better to move my focus point? Why does it matter, this is new to me.

Thank you for the assistance
