I messed up. Stained loafers

First time applying Saphir leather balm (creme universelle). Ended up with attached stains. Around 5-6 places across the pair. The shoes are Perugia tessels purchased back in 2019 in the US. Anything I can do to fix this?

Can you put waxed Barbour in LG Styler?

For the uninitiated, LG Styler is a fancy steam closet that sanitizes and presses jackets and other articles without detergents / soap. I’m thinking about getting one and wondering if my barbour, which is 2 years old and not washed yet, can be properly taken care of in one.

Any experience?

Broadband - relocation fee

I'm moving to a new place, where they seem to only have HKT (PCCW/Netvigator) fibres in the walls, which leaves me not much choices. Now, they are offering the same $198 per month package for 1,000mbit access, which is what I used to have and works for my family.

Catch here is they are demanding $980 relocation / re-installation fee. What are my chances of successfully waiving this off? They are offering to waive it completely if I upgrade my plan to 2,500mbit which costs $98 more, or some other BS packages like multi-SIM which is completely useless.

Any success stories here would be helpful.

Thank you

Time for shorts! Tyler vs Cormac?

Looking for pleated pair I can style with some belts. I have not seen or tried either designs, but I’ve heard good things. What are the major deciding factors between the two? Which colorway would you recommend?

Loafers - Heel slippage

This has been happening more and more for me. Maybe I'm buying the wrong shoes? For example, my old Ferragamos and Allen Edmonds fit perfect. My recent purchases, including new ferragamos, Bridlens, and Juliettas (Thai brand), they have massive slippages. Makes it unbearable to walk.

Anything that can clinically be done about it? When I size down, I immediately run out of interior volume and toes start to get painful.

I've tried heel grips - minor improvements. I've tried tongue pads - no difference whatsoever. Any suggestions please?

Affordable suit tailors

I use Roger’s in Central for my 3 piece suit and shirts needs. I now have a need to mass produce (3-5 or so) suit trousers (pants only) for daily office wear in different, varied fabrics. I don’t think I want to pay ~1,800 for office pants. Wondering if anyone knows a good tailor that can produce decent looking pants with decent quality wool flannel fabric that does not cost over $1,000. Probably not. But still worth a shot? Thanks

My 5-man ARAM stack is actually decent. Well-oiled, balanced, and usually hovering around that high Gold / low Plat mode MMR. I’m not claiming to be a pro, but I’m a tank main, and can usually land a Blaze E stun 8 out of 10 times.

Then we ran into this ETC.

Every single time I’d lay the oil and go for E (and even when i wasn’t laying the oil down), he’d nullify the charge with W before I even made contact.

Every. Single. Time.

It felt like hitting an impenetrable wall; I don’t think we even peeled a single HP off their towers. We ended up dropping 3 games back-to-back against the same 3-stack + rando’s.

His response time was actually disgusting.

Is this what the Diamond/Master ceiling feels like? Did I just run into the final boss of ETC mains, or is the skill gap between Plat and the upper tiers really this suffocating?

Someone please confirm that this level of mechanical gatekeeping is normal, because that was humbling…
