A/C compressor is removed and bypassed so no a/c but it’s October right now and winter soon, will need new windshield for inspection in February and rear frame rails are rotted like all 2012-2015 civics up here seems really common I’ll just hire a welder to patch them up the inspection is good until February so not immediate repair.

Good is it’s an automatic with nice black leather seats clean title, I looked at the title and the mileage makes sense and in sellers name so nothing funny there, also it’s the traditional 5 speed automatic not a cvt
Paying for a welder (probably find a backyard mechanic off marketplace) to patch up the small rear frame rails, probably grab 4 tires from a junkyard ($70-$100), and a new windshield ($280 here) those prices might be optimistic but what I’ve paid recently for other cars not sure how much a junkyard A/c compresser would be but not much but might cost a bit to get someone to install, flush and recharge the lines, might look for factory alloys and spray the rockers to match the body paint to make it look less clapped (doesn’t really look that bad as is but I can see how it effects potential buyers perception)
Again not looking to make money though just not lose money if I need to get rid of it, or do you think it’ll just be a headache and a money pit
If I had the option I’d prefer just a civic like usual for better gas mileage but this is what’s available near me right now

A dremel with a cut off wheel would be the best tool for the job to cut a slit but I do not have one. I drilled into the screw hoping to jam a torx or any bit into it but I cannot get one to fit tight enough to turn it. It is flush with the plastic gauge around it so I can’t grip the outside with pliers. What else can I try? I have an angle grinder but I don’t want to run the plastic gauge. Give me ideas
How do you clear an area of mosquitos in the woods? I removed wet leaves on the ground and am not near any water source but am still swarmed. Do I nee a $35 thermocell? Which repellant method works best?
