r/ JeepneysBad

While I do agree na maraming flaws ang mga jeepneys, whether sa design, or sa driver/operators, I think mali tanggalin ang pagiging cultural icon niya just to become a humble and straightforward public service kung puwede naman silang ipagsabay. Too much generalization ika nga kung may ibang jeep naman na matitino.

Puwede namang mag-improve ang reputation ng mga jeepneys kung may genuine reforms na ipapatupad under Public Transport Modernization Program that benefits everyone, plus stringent issuance of driver's license, especially for professional holders na mataas ang responsibility sa kalsada.

Should I be worried na mali ang oil filter na ikinabit sa Toyota Innova namin?

So nagpa-change oil ako ng 2022 Toyota Innova 2.8 E A/T ng family namin sa isang Petron Car Care Center last weekend somewhere in Manila dahil naka-35,000+ km na ang odometer ko, where I finally switched to a fully-synthetic REV-X RX800 5W-40 engine oil.

See the specs below.

Specs ng C-111 (Left) and C-418 (Right)

My question is, should I be worried na magkakaroon ng oil leak ang Toyota Innova namin dahil lang sa maling oil filter na ikinabit na out of specification ng manufacturer?

What if pinirmahan ng gobyerno at NDFP ang CASER na itinutulak ng mga NatDem / Communists?

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT ASSOCIATED sa NDFP, CPP, NPA, or any far-left groups na mayroon tayo, specifically those under the Communist and/or National Democracy banner.

I am curious lang sa nakita ko about sa CASER, or Comprehensive Agreement on Social and Economic Reforms na itinutulak ng mga National Democrats, specifically the National Democratic Front of the Philippines na associated sa Communist Party of the Philippines at New People's Army, also in certain extent, ang Makabayan Bloc ng House of Representatives. I've heard of that term before and I once delved into a draft agreement na ilang beses na nilang ni-revise para umayon sa current events, and I found out sa Article I, Section 6 ng "FOREIGN ECONOMIC AND TRADE RELATIONS" ang laman nito na medyo nakakabahala:

>The Parties shall promote economic independence by building closer mutually beneficial economic relations and cooperation with neighboring countries in East Asia – while correcting imbalanced relations with China, Japan and South Korea – and other countries beyond the region, including the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) as well as other countries asserting their sovereignty and independence.

Basically, they're only targeting anything aligned with the United States, and shifting our economic cooperations with China and Russia, much like the Dutertes did from 2016 to 2022, and possibly (hopefully not) by 2028 to 2034. What if pinirmahan ito ng panig ng gobyerno natin at ng NDFP. Do you think we will really prosper under a communist rule na itinutulak nila similar to what China or Vietnam is today, or magagaya lang tayo sa North Korea with cult of personality na isinasamba natin si Joma kahit patay na? Because personally, this does way more harm than good in most aspects of life.

Resources are easily found in Google naman, specifically NDFP website.

H.E.R., BINI, Lea Salonga, KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza Lead Dreamworks Animation’s ‘Forgotten Island’ Soundtrack

H.E.R., Bini, Lea Salonga and Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza are among the artists leading the soundtrack on Dreamworks Animation’s “Forgotten Island.”

Hot off wowing Coachella both weekends, P-Pop band Bini deliver a new song for the soundtrack, titled “A Parallel World,” produced by composer Nathan Matthew David and Shawn Wasabi.

Similarly, the film features a remixed version of INXS’ classic “Never Tear Us Apart,” sung by Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza, for an emotional moment between the two friends.

The film’s two female leads, H.E.R. and Soberano, are at the helm of the film’s title track “BRB.”

Aside from the film’s original songs, Filipino boy band SB19 will cover the classic song “Mga Kababayan” by Francis M, and Ruby Ibarra sings “Salbahae Ako” with Carl Angelo. The soundtrack also includes DMX’s “Party Up” and Baha Men’s “Who Let the Dogs Out.”

Jordan Clarkson proudly raised the Philippine flag during the Championship Parade of New York Knicks

Sa mga doubters o racist na for convenience lang ang pagiging Filipino niya, eto oh, proud siya sa Filipino roots niya just by bringing our national flag.

Ano 'to?

Looking for serious answers here. Thanks!

Food Crawl in Laguna with Erwan (Biñan, Nagcarlan, and MORE!)

In this first part of our Laauna Food Crawl series. Erwan travels across Biñan, Calamba, Bay, Santa Cruz, Nagcarlan, Victoria, and Liliw in search of the flavors that define Laguna today. Along the way, he meets Chef RV Manabat and visits longtime local eateries and roadside karinderyas to experience both classic favorites and newer local offerings.

For many Filipinos, Laguna is tied to memories of outings, hot springs, road trips, and quick weekend escapes. But beyond the resorts and vacation homes is a province filled with stories, flavors, and people worth slowina down for.
