Landlord wants me to pay water heater rental bill

As the headline says, the landlord is refusing to withdraw the Enbridge water heater rental bill from January. It’s still there on the website where they post all the tenants items (utilities are in landlords name, split between upstairs 70/30 downstairs (same square footage but that’s another post). I initially paid these to the tune of a few hundred dollars, then informed the landlord that it was an illegal cost.

No response from the landlord after the latest “You need to pay this”. And me replying “not according to the LTB.”

It’s for a minor amount (less the $50). What problems am I creating for myself? Any steps I should take to be prepared? My plan was to take no action until landlord does, then file a counter claim for the money already paid. Thoughts? Advice? Wisdom?

Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

Add: Landlord stopped invoicing me in February, nothing since. I’m concerned because it’s been there for months.

Freezer-burnt Blueberries

More quality premium organic produce

Edit: for all the folks convinced that this is how it should be, y’all enjoy your freezer burnt berries. I’m going back to my independent grocery store and buying actual individually, frozen wild blueberries. Because unlike Loblaws, they actually know how to properly control their frozen supply chain.

Disabled, separated from husband, receive spousal support. He just got fired.

I’m disabled and separated from my husband. My sole source of income is spousal support and he just got fired.

I have RRSPs but I’m not yet retired. If he doesn’t get employment, what are my options?

Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

Sparrow looking bird flew into my window hard and landed in the garden below. Here she has been there for an hour and a half. How long do I leave them before rendering aid? And how do I render aid? Thank you in advance.
