As seen on the UK opening page here, FutureShock in Glasgow sadly closed in 2014 after the death of it's owner Neil Craig.

I just want to play my PS1. Advice needed:

EDIT: Thanks for the advice everyone I'll have a look on Amazon for your suggestions and keep you posted! Thanks for your patience and taking the time to explain everything 🙏 🙂

Ok so this is the only wire I have for my PS1.

I Have an LG 2021 TV.

This wire obviously doesn't work on it.

My question is what wire do I need to play on my TV?

I don't want to buy 4 different wires and adapters to play. I just want a single wire that goes from my PS1 to my TV.

I don't care about it being 1080p 4k HD or whatever. I just want the picture to be clear, and playable.

So much info online giving me different opinions and i don't know much about this stuff.

Please provide links if possible to a cheap, single wire.

I just wanna play some ps1😅

Thanks for you help!

New to Aberdeen. I'm looking for a church to start going to that has people around my age (m38).

Any church that does mid-week events so I can meet people of a similar age.

Another UK + US Savage Sword comparison for those interested. Issue #17

I've noticed the UK issues are printed on thicker paper.

Has anyone ever wondered how the Guards/Staff would get around if the elevators broke? There's no staircase!

I mean would they just be trapped on B2? There's no staircase...

Council Tax Issue. Advice needed⬇️

I moved into my current address 5 months ago. On day one i filled out the online forms.

Since then I've had no response.

No letters or emails.

I tried ringing on several occasions but after 30mins on hold I just give up.

On the one occasion I did get through they asked for my reference number, which they haven't given me because they haven't responded!!!

Was told to ring back when I have my council tax reference number😅

I've submitted council tax enquiries online, but they just close the case straight away.

The most recent case was closed 2 seconds after I submitted 🤣

My question is how do I pay my council tax?!!!

Do they not want my money???

39 Conan Comics. How much should I sell them for? All great condition. Haven't read them in a while. They should go to a true fan⬇️

39 Conan Comics. Not expecting alot from them. But is £60 reasonable to sell them at?

All really good condition.

Why are we going to be working an extra 1hr30 a day if we only get 1 extra Saturday? Should only be a matter of minutes per day to cover the 7 hours of the extra Saturday?

My time in UK Wrestling Training Before the #MeToo

Recently I've been thinking about my time training to wrestle in the UK for Progress and IPW:UK. I only ever had 3 matches and none of the were bookings at Progress or IPW:UK.

It was about 8 years ago, and unlucky for me almost all my coaches were cancelled and outed during the #MeToo ,which was a few months after I gave up training to be a wrestler.

He is my experiences with these coaches. The good and the bad.

**Daryl Allen - ProJo headcoach**

Initially seen like a nice guy, but you could tell he didn't like big guys.

If a 7ft trainee showed up, expect to be doing flip bumps and chain wrestling. No matter your size he'd make you wrestle his way.

If he didn't like you expect to do a whole 3 hours of cardio followed by headlocks.

One time he made us all practice back bumps on the concrete floor. Anyone who said no he'd say something like "no point you being here then" or make you shoot wrestle Roy Johnson.

Although Roy would never hurt a fly and was a nice guy, it's still intimidating when you're new.

I made i made sure not to attend ProJo sessions that were coached by Daryl after a while.

**Sid Scala**

Actually a really nice guy who cared about trainees doing well. Gave great advice and was very approachable. He was regularly a guest at different training schools and I never went to his personal school. Surprised to see him get called out.

**Mariah May (Now in AEW)**

Was a trainee at the same time as me. Literally everyone creeping on her constantly. Not surprised how she was treated.

**Sammy Smooth (Now Kit Wilson in WWE)**

Nice guy. Showed up to training when he wasn't busy. Sometimes trained with us.

Had a short training match together. Was really helpful and gave good advice. Very approachable.

**James Davis**

Seemed like a nice guy. Got on well with him on the few occasions we spoke. Decent coach but got fed up quickly with new trainees who couldn't pick things up right away. Some trainees he'd just randomly be rude too.

Loved the big guy wrestlers and would fully be in your corner if you're 6ft+

**Matt Riddle**

Nicest guy ever. He'd get off a long flight, spend a whole day training people and performing on a show, then still put on a smile and give you advice at 3am, jetlagged with no sleep. Never was treated badly by him on the 3 occasions I met/trained with him

**Pete Dunn**

Honesty the nicest guy in the wrestling business. Spent 5 hours with him alone in a car. Was shy to ask him questions. He knew that and just bombarded me with knowledge. Also gave me £70 to pay for my parking fine because his flight arrived late.

**Jimmy Havoc**

Would be very respectful/encouraging if you were half decent at wrestling. If you were slightly good at promos, or had a decent character, or could wrestle a bit then he'll have time for you. If you were completely new or slow to pick things up he'd get fed up/ bed rude to you.

**Paul Robinson**

Really nice and polite. Opposite of his character. Hated bullying. Would send people away if there was any form of mocking other trainees. Always had time to answer questions.

**Melina (WWE)**

Surprisingly shy and quiet. Gave good advice and training sessions were fun

**Danny Duggan and (whatever his tag partner was called i can't remember)**

Very professional. Loved cardio sessions. Somewhat approachable but just felt like you were annoying them. Use to make fun of trainees behind their backs after training

**Bea Priestley (Blair Davenport WWE)**

Initially respectful, but as soon as she started getting bookings she'd be rude/disrespectful to the new trainees.

**Will Osprey (AEW)**

Nice enough. Short fuse. Mostly professional when coaching students.

**EC3 (TNA)**

Great guy. Really enthusiastic and passionate. Feels like he's really in your corner. Once called me the most charismatic wrestler he's seen in his visits to the UK and liked my character.

Lol Sorry I did nothing with it EC3

**Hawk (WWE)**

Didn't want to be there. Mostly talked about headlocks. Got annoyed at questions.

**Dan Edler (IPW:UK Owner)**

Seemed nice. Very kind. Mark for all the wrestlers. Once offered Chris Masters his bed instead of booking him a hotel 😅.

Gave alot of female trainees free tickets to shows/free training sessions. Also arrived/left shows with them. A few regulars he was close with i never saw again. After a few weeks of them hanging together they'd quit.

**Jonathan Windsor**

Nice guy. Coached like a strict school teacher. Would crack down on bullying. Very knowledgeable.

**Cara Noir? (Forget his name)**

Really polite. Make you feel like you could do anything in the ring. Used to break down each move into stages and spend time with you until you got it. Very friendly and encouraging.

**James Castle**

Nice enough. Only trained under him once. Was a big class but the few minutes I got with him 1 to 1 were good. Very relaxed and professional.

**Al Snow (WWE)**

Was rarely at his school. Felt like a scam. Just spent £100s to do cardio. Nice guy when I finally met him. Just wasn't worth the money.

**Toni Storm (AEW)**

Was on a show together once. Some female fan had given the wrestlers a tray of cupcakes. She told me not to eat one. Later someone said there were hairs in all the cupcakes. Thanks Toni.

**WAR MACHINE (WWE)**

Nice guys. Surprisingly practice flips and dives. Lesson was a bit short bc they were late. Still had to pay full price. Polite enough.

**Chris Hero (WWE)**

Really nice guy. Would talk to you for hours about wrestling. Really loved coaching.

**Nigel McGuinness (WWE)**

Rude, loser, moron. Treated trainees like slaves, refused to shake people's hands.

**MVP (WWE)**

Really nice. Asked me to get him a KFC. Never paid me back. Promoter reimbursed me. 3 months later he contacted me on social media apologising. I had already forgotten and get offered me free entry to his next seminar.

**Zack Gibson (NXT)**

Really nice. Very encouraging. Liked my character and asked me to message him anytime for help and advice. I was too shy. Never messaged him.

Overall was an ok experience. Trainees were very mixed. Alot of the time a trainee would turn into an ass\*ole once they got a few matches under their belt. Lots of backstabbing and politics. Very expensive too. Wasn't worth it. But enjoy my few matches i had
