Australian National Flag Redesign: A Commonwealth under the Crown

With all the Australian Flag redesigns flooding Reddit recently, I (as someone who is personally in favour of keeping the current flag) have decided to try my hand once more at designing a new Australian flag.

The theme of this design is "A Commonwealth under the Crown", which is a direct reference to the Preamble of the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act which states that the people of Australia had "agreed to unite in one indissoluble Federal Commonwealth under the Crown". The white star on blue colour scheme is taken from the current national flag's colour scheme, and the gold crown on blue background is taken from the Heraldic Colours of Australia: Blue and Gold. I have also created some alternative designs with the main motif.

The Tudor Crown Emblem was not made by me, I got it from the the website of the Governor of Victoria.

Fun Fact: Mojang (the creators of Minecraft) released a dating simulator/visual novel parody called Doki Doki Compatibility Quest III in 2015, two years before DDLC was released

You can't make this up, its even set in a high school like DDLC and its logo bears more than a passing resemblance to DDLC's logo.

Number of Items in Control Panel

This graph shows the number of items in the item view of the Control Panel over time.

You can see the number of items shoot up as the category view made the need for a manageable number of items in the icon view unimportant, and it begin to go back down again as Control Panel is slowly replaced by the Settings app.
